If you're like me, and you shy away from DVD-only releases in the age of 4K Blu-ray, you might wanna rethink that mentality. I started collecting DVDs in 2001, Blu-rays in 2009, and 4K in 2023, I think. And I've always wondered why these companies even bother releasing DVD Only releases when going Blu-ray shouldn't be that much more difficult in the age of HD and 4K broadcasts. The HD+ masters are already available since 1080p HD broadcasts have been around since 2007. Well, I'm guessing its cost and limited demand for physical media anymore. So I've been avoiding a lot of DVD only releases for several titles I've been interested in. But for some reason, I decided to pull the trigger on this Seal Team set, after I found the 2-season SIX series available on Blu-ray in one package. So I haven't watched many DVDs recent, and I wasn't expecting much from this set with regards to PQ and AQ. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. The PQ was surprisingly good. Apparently HD masters and new ways of encoding in MPEG2 can actually produce high quality images. Oh, it's not quite as sharp as Blu-ray, but it ain't bad, especially if you're dealing with an anamorphic transfer as opposed to a 4:3 transfer. So on a scale of 10, with 10 being 4K, I'd put PQ at about a 6.5. There are some soft scenes, which may be due to a limitation of the code. But for the most part, you get good blacks, and fairly decent lightly lit scenes. So I'm happy with this huge Complete Series DVD set. As for AQ? Well, you get your standard lossy DD5.1 and DD2.0 Soundtracks. The 5.1 track has good LFE but you can tell it doesn't have the clarity of an lossless HD Master Audio. That's the only real reason I wish this was a Blu-ray set. But all in all, rest easy that this is still a good set. Just kinda wished it came in individual season boxes rather than one huge clamshell we with stacked discs. Now as for the content of the show? I'm only one disc in to this entire series, but I'm already hooked. Gonna love watching this show. What I love is that the squad tactics they use in the show looks pretty accurate with hand taps on the shoulder and other methods they use to move in close quarters combat.

There are many facets of this series that appeal to me. The weaponry, the story lines, the action... all-in-all a well produced series that I heartily recommend to the military enthusiast.

One of the best TV Series I've ever seen. Great action scenes and with real SEALS as technical advisors and writers, it really kept the authenticity in check. I particularly liked the hostage rescue episodes, but all the other episodes were equally outstanding with regards to how the SEALS operate. And the personal stories were just as interesting and also heartbreaking in some cases. The discs themselves were packaged in a pretty secure plastic box, but even with that , some of them came off the spindles through the handling processes. None were damaged. All looked great on my DVD Blu-Ray Player. Absolutely, no complaints.

Wow, die Serie ist Klasse! Noch nie hat Drama auf 30 DVDs soviel Spaß gemacht! Mir gefallen die Geschichten um das Bravo-Team von Seal Team und diese militärischen Abkürzungen (Department of Defense, Tactical Operation Command, High-value target, Return to base usw.). Also Jackpot und exfill 2 mics out. How copy?

A great Guy flick!

Plastic case was damaged on arrival, disc's themselves were good. Overall set up for this set of dvds is not very good - poor design but I bought it because I enjoyed the show.
