Excellent set for those dogs who require little maintenance or for at home grooming. The main clipper is MASSIVE and very powerful. The kit’s scissors are sharp and ergonomic and the mini clipper is great for paws and hygiene areas. The attachments fit well and i like the reliability of the brand. Every dog owner should consider having this kit especially if you have a silky or long haired breed thats not wavy/curly in texture. Handy storage case too.

I have used this product in total of 3 times now on a miniature schnauzer and overall I would say it does the job well. I used it 2 times with the 1/2 (smallest attachment) & 1 time without any attachments. With the attachments the hair gets caught up in the blades and attachment, therefore you need to clear the hair after almost every stroke otherwise it will simply not cut anymore (use fingers or small brush). This is because the hair blocks the access to the blades. This is something I have accepted for this product but removed 1 star. When I use it without any attachments it cuts very nicely but you still need to clear the hair from the blades by shaking the hair of. The heat is also acceptable and not hot to the touch. After 3 uses I did not notice any decrease in cutting of the blades. I have been oiling them before and after every use. If you can allocate 1-1.5 hours to attend to your dog then this is a good option. The addition of the small trimmer is very helpful in sensitive areas like bridge of nose. However they are not very good for paws as the blades are to fine and they clog up quick. So for fine hair areas ok , but not practical on thinker hair. As far as durability for both devices: large trimmer is very good quality no complaints. Small trimmer the batter cover come off too easily when in use. Hope this help someone

Bought for a very hairy old terrier and they are spot on. Very quiet and low vibration so perfect for our slightly nervous dog. Easy clean and very sharp,

thought being a good make as such,, but they did cut my dog.. thought that using clippers this wouldn't happen.

Well I was surprisingly very disappointed in these. I have a Wahl chargeable set of clippers too (standard size clippers with different combs) at the same price point, which aren't amazing but are decent. The standard size clippers, which obviously aren't chargable and need to remain plugged in, are sooo heavy. After using them for any length of time the weight becomes noticable. They feel solid for sure. Not too loud, which is nice. The blade/cut is to be expected for price. The mini clippers: seriously, why did they even include them? The first batteries were put in and lasted less than two minutes (literally, I did two pawpads and they died). I replaced them with new ones and they started fading within a minute and then were dead a minute later. Not one to be beaten, I put expensive batteries in and started on the doggy nooks'n'crannies. Almost instantly, on making contact with the hair (very fine and silky, not dense or wiry) the clippers slowed down. Twenty seconds later they were dead. Absolutely useless. If I'd bought simply the standard clippers and felt the weight I'd have returned them. But I persevered, kept and used the whole kit, knowing I had the mini's too. Which turned out to not work. As with most kits like this, scissors aren't great. Solely use my chargeable standard clippers now (whuch are so lightweight) and keep these for emergencies. Have bought another set of mini clippers. Basically feel the whole kit was a waste of time and money.

Very good clippers, cuts my westie perfect

I have two dogs, one Lhasa and one Lhasa cross poodle. I started with the Lhasa, as he is so chilled out and laid back. I thought, he would be a good guinea pig as I have never done it before. I could not fault them, So quick and easy, glided through his coat. I couldn't believe I had been paying somebody else to do this for so long. I didn't really know what to expect with regards to noise, but these really are surprisingly quiet and easy to handle. When I got to clipping my Lhasa cross poodle, the clippers had real trouble going through the coat. it was just taking forever. Being unexperienced, I didn't know if it was me, the clippers or the coat. After doing some research I have concluded that it is ( possibly) due to the coat and it may be a double coat, whereas the Lhasa has a single coat. I have since ordered the SS Pro model, which I have been recommended. For this model and for the ability to groom my Lhasa it was 5 stars.

Nowhere in the Amazon ad does it state these trimmers have a UK plug. How dumb is this? My order address is Arizona USA! I wasted a week waiting for it- I now understand why it took so long: UK! Please Amazon DO BETTER!!

This item is okay for its price however it comes with an English plug. It is louder than my previous clippers and left my hand with a tingling sensation due to the vibration after grooming 2 dogs in a row. Not bad but could be better.
