Oura Ring 4 - Gold - Size 7 - Size Before You Buy

In the previous versions of the Oura ring, I wore a size 11. The size 10, version four is perfect. I did have a problem with the discount from Amazon. When I purchased the ring sizing system for $10 and figured out the size I needed to purchase, I didn’t receive $10 credit towards the purchase as advertised. Just know if you purchased it through Amazon you may have that issue even though I bought both items from the same product link. My initial ring was a silver one and I am very happy with the gold except the scratches show up so much more on the gold color ring than they ever did on the silver! The Charge last a long time and I had gotten down to about two days per charge for my previous version. Since day, one of having an Oura ring, I have worn it twenty four seven except for the one night a week when I spend thirty minutes to forty five minutes charging it. I wear it for sleep, shower, dress up, casual, work, home, gardening, working on a car… I can do anything wearing this ring and continue to wear it all the time!

I bought this ring a full year ago. I have loved the features that come with it. It’s worth the money for the ring and the monthly subscription, which is only $5 for the monthly. And it does so much. I recently needed a replacement and it was the easiest process ever. Overall, the pros have vastly outweighed the one con that I’ve had with it, and that was the recent battery issue after a year of having and it wearing it every single day.

I have 3 relatives with the gen 3 and they loved it. Since it had such good reviews I splurged on the newest gen 4 and got the gold one. The gold is a brassy color and my sisters gen 3 is a better gold. I noticed scratches on mine right away and bought a silicone cover. I worn that for a few weeks and the past 2 weeks have been wearing it without and it has rubbed off in places and is silver underneath. I have also been sick for the past week and have had a fever and the ring showed a little bit of difference but still had I had a relatively good nights rest even while walking up coughing several times a night. Could the 3 be a better ring? I had such high hopes from the rave reviews from relatives. When I took the walking test it said my cardio capacity is at peak which is weird because I don’t exercise. My daughter who just ran a half marathon has a lower capacity than me and she is a runner. What am I missing here? The ring is not durable and looks cheap and scratched up, the info is not accurate and I paid $500 for this plus $7 a month? Going to contact the company because I think I. got a lemon. I waited a month to give it a fair chance but now the return window is closed.

I purchased the Oura Ring 4 in gold and I truly love it. What I like most is how it tracks my sleep the data is very detailed and it has helped me better understand my sleep patterns and overall energy. It’s also comfortable and you barely feel it on your finger. That said, the gold finish does scratch a bit with regular use, which was a downside for me considering the price. However, I contacted Oura’s official customer service and they were excellent they sent me a new one. Overall, I highly recommend it for the technology and insights it provides, but if you’re very particular about aesthetics, you might want to consider a different finish.

I have only had this device for three weeks, so I feel I can't do a complete review of the product--yet. The good and the bad for the first few weeks is what I can offer and I will update as the matrix begins to develop on the app. I believe it said up to 6 months of use to get the most of the device. I purchased this with HSA to help track my everyday vitals and use it for exactly what it is designed to do. I would compare to the Apple Watch -- which I have had for years and love. I like the ease and comfort of the ring. The Oura seems to track more what I would like to use it for. So far, so good. I really love how quickly the ring gathers data and tracks it. VERY easy set up, super comfortable and stylish. Definitely take advantage of the ring sizing guide to get the perfect fit. The ring suggests course corrections and adjustments to make daily quality of life better. I have yet to dig deep into the weeds of the app, but so far, there is A LOT of information to utilize. Even more than I will use it for. Those are the perks thus far, here is the down side. The only reason for my early 4-star is two things: One, the cost. Very expensive($525), is the the cost of similar devices. I don't mind the cost if it does what it says, which so far, yes- and beyond. The ring itself, scratches super easy. I find myself buffing daily. I am no expert on Titanium, but three weeks in with everyday wear, it looks like I've been wearing for years. The app does a great job explaining care. Make sure to take a look at that. Second, is the proprietary subscription. I feel that with the cost of the ring, there should be at the very least a year subscription or something similar rather than just 30 days.
