The only tackle bag you really need.
I was not lucky enough to get this for free or at a discount. I don't know how those folks get picked for that, but if Amazon wants to give me free stuff, that would be cool. I paid full price, and this is my honest review. I ordered this a few weeks ago and wanted to take it on a few trips after I got it loaded up before I gave it a review. After my next trip, I plan to take some pictures of the bag and will update the review then. The MOLLE straps are great for adding additional pouches. The snap pouch on the top side opposite the water bottle storage is also MOLLE and can be swapped out with a more useful multi-pocket pouch if you need smaller divider pockets. Speaking of the water bottle holder, that is a surprise and is very neat. It expands using elastic straps and seems like it might be wide enough to fit my Nalgene, although I never remember to grab it out of the freezer before I take off...The built-in pliers holder is a perfect one-size-fits-all and works great on my old Lew's 7" pliers. I wish it would've been MOLLE so it could've been positioned differently, but you get what you get. Each of the pockets that are built into the bag has dividers, which is excellent. The main compartment also has a divider, and with the four 3600 boxes still has room for a 3700 in the front divider of that main pocket. STORAGE FOR DAYS. The 3600 size boxes that come with it feel cheap, so I replaced them with Plano brand boxes I already had.The thinner zip compartment in front of the main compartment tends to lose the larger tools I have stowed in there (fish grips, pole holder, etc.), and I end up digging in the bottom to find what I need. The finger pulls are large, and the zippers feel very high quality. The straps are comfortable. The back is very breathable. The waist straps are surprisingly long enough to fit around my waist with room to spare. I'm a big & tall guy but have no issues getting the strap around and clipped. The hip storage is a great addition. Like I said, I'm a big guy, so they end up at my lower back more than my hips, and I can't get to them very easily, but when the bag is on the bank beside me, they are easily accessible.I have not yet used the rain cover, but being in Central Florida, there's a high probability I'll need it when fishing between noon and 3 pm during the summertime. The rod holders are an interesting challenge. Each rod holder consists of an elastic loop and a drawstring elastic band that feeds through the loop. The drawstring elastic band has a spring lock cord stop on it to cinch down the rod once it is in place. The fixed loop side is just large enough to stretch for the cord lock to fit through. It is not a super easy process, but that allows you to secure a 1 piece pole to the bag. I carry my 1-piece in my hands and store my 2-piece poles in the bag's rod holders. First, I open the compression fittings as far as they will go, then I feed the poles through the loops and seat the butts into the holders at the bottom of the pack. Then, I cinch down the cord lock fittings. As another reviewer mentioned, it would be easier if they used velcro here, but in my experience, velcro would wear out significantly quicker than the elastic drawstrings will, so I understand why the manufacturer went this direction. The sunglasses pouch on top was the icing on the cake. When the sun went down, and I brought out my night fishing gear, I knew my sunglasses were protected without having to lose them on the ground or take them back to the truck.

High quality backpack for the price
This backpack holds all my tackle for fishing and I have a lot! It has held up to a couple of trips and so have the tackle boxes it came with. One of the tackle boxes is a double sided box so it can hold about 10-15 lures. The backpack has the shoulder straps as well as a bottom strap to take off weight. I love the camo color and organizing containers. All in all this is a quality tackle bag that I think is worth your money

You won’t want any other one!
Couldn’t have been happier with this backpack. Fisherman’s dream! Comfortable and durable. Has everything you could need. My 15 year old loves that it’s an all-in-one. He can grab it and go knowing everything he could need fits inside. Would recommend!

Lots of space
Comfortably fits all of my fishing gear. Bought this to replace one that was stolen because I like the storage set up better. The insert in the back is a little weird but works well for fishing off the bank. Using this in my kayak would be a little more tricky.
