This "coral" fish has lovely detail and is sturdy enough for placement near anywhere. We are experimenting where we like him best on counter or shelf or on a decorative stand. The tail is vibrant enough with shades of blue from navy,sky and teal . We are really happy with this purchase. The size is about 8 inches end of tail to fish nose,about 7 inches bottom to top of upper fin and about 4 inches deep side fin to side fin. Fish was packed well and shipping was as estimated.
