I love long wear lip products but let’s be honest, most of them make your lips feel like sandpaper after an hour. This one completely changed my mind. The texture is buttery soft and super lightweight. It glides on smoothly and gives a pretty blurred matte finish that somehow still feels moisturising. I bought two shades to start with and I’m already planning to grab a few more because I’m officially obsessed. The colour payoff is lovely, natural but buildable, and it actually lasts through coffee, snacks and an entire school run (miracle). What I really love is that it doesn’t crack, flake or cling to dry patches. Even when it fades, it does so evenly and still looks nice. It feels way more high end than the price tag suggests. If you’re like me and love matte lips but hate the dryness that usually comes with them, this one’s a total win. 💄✨

Note that this isn't a lipstick or a lip gloss: it's a lip stain. I like using lip stain because I can layer something (or nothing) over the top of it to create whatever finish I want, and I know the colour itself won't budge. This is particularly useful for an evening out, when I can wear lipstick over the top of a lip stain and know that even if the lipstick wears off during a meal, there is still colour underneath. During the day, I can apply lipbalm over the top of it if I want a sleeker finish, but even by itself, this shade looks great - a deep colour, but with a fairly natural appearance on my lips because it doesn't conceal my natural lip texture. I applied this as I usually would, by applying a careful layer, waiting 30 seconds or so, and then blotting it off with a tissue to leave just the colour behind. Once blotted, there's no stickiness, no residue, no build-up, and it lasted all day, even after washing my face with my normal cleanser. Removing it required some effort (and a proper make-up cleanser), which is exactly the staying power I want from a lip stain. I'm delighted and would happily buy again.

I’m a big fan of Maybelline lip products and I own a lot of the Superstay range already, especially the ink ones, so I was really curious to see how the Teddy Tint would compare. First impression is that the texture is different, given that it's a lip stain. It does feel a bit stickier when you first apply it, more so than the classic Superstay inks, but it also glides on very smoothly and feels lighter on the lips. I actually find I need to be a bit more generous with application, as the colour is more subtle at first, but once you do that it shows up beautifully. After it dries, it stays put really well, not quite as bulletproof as the original Superstay inks, but still very impressive. What I really like is the finish. My lips look softer and a bit plumper, with a slight sheen rather than a flat matte. The colour itself is very natural and easy to wear, one of those shades that just works without looking overdone. The shade I chose is Current Mood, and it’s exactly the kind of natural tone I reach for every day. My tip would be to apply a slightly thicker layer than you think you need and give it a minute to fully dry before touching your lips together. Once it sets, it looks much better and lasts longer. If you already like Maybelline lipsticks and want something a bit softer and more natural looking than the classic Superstay, this is definitely worth trying. Awful. The hygiene seal was broken and covered up with a larger label. It also looks as though there used to be a security sticker on it as there's residue on the lid. Really disappointed.

Really good, long lasting

Applied it in the morning before work, after 4 hours I ate and it still looked good, after 6 hours you can see it in the first picture (sorry for the warm light) on how it wore off. Now my lips look dry af on the second picture where I reapplied it an hour and a bit ago. It is quite drying, don't like that, so occasionally I applied a lip balm that helped out with the dry feeling and it didn't really come off. But it dries nicely, has a lovely colour and lasts quite a bit, just a shame about the really chalky-feeling effect, and a bit sticky effect- that is quite of a turnoff.

Good quality and regular usable

This is brilliant. Apply in morning and lasts all day even comes off on make up removal wipe when removing make up at night. Can feel bit strange on lips but soon get used to it . Doesn’t dry my lips but I do moisturise at night and in morning. Lovely matte finish.will buy again.
