Excellent device and customer support from the vendor
Installation was trivially easy in my 2016 4Runner and setup was similarly easy to connect with my Google Pixel 6 phone running Android 14 (and updated to Android 15). It feels and looks like a quality product and is good at what it does. The mounting hardware works well for me. On startup connection is usually fast and the first time, although it sometimes needs a couple of attempts (when connection fails the phone tells me that, yes it is connected to the Minix box). Streaming music via the Sirius/XM app works very well. After finding the problems described below I updated the firmware to the latest 0.0.9 version, which is easy if you have a thumb drive with a USB-C connector. So far: Excellent! EDIT The problems described below have been resolved. I posted a request for help on the vendor's support forum and received a speedy response (thanks Ken!). They arranged for the device to be collected by FedEx and returned to them in Hong Kong. The replacement device (pre-tested by the vendor and sent directly from Hong Kong) works correctly and I'm very pleased with it. Full marks for the device and the support. ---old review included for completeness - these problems have been resolved--- I did find a couple of problems, though - and you might find them significant: When I wake Google Assistant with a key phrase ("Hey Google") the expected "Hi! How can I help" window pops up, but there is no further response to voice commands. The window can also be displayed by touching an on-screen microphone button, but it's similarly non-responsive. So I can't (for example) get a response to "Hey Google, navigate to home"). The small window can be dismissed by touching elsewhere on the screen, or it will eventually timeout. I've contacted the vendor's support forum and they've been responsive - posting a video of this working fine on their Android phone (an old Note 9) but no resolution yet for me. When I connect my phone to another car with built-in Android Auto the same voice commands work correctly, so I'm thinking the problem is in the Minix box. Also: During navigation the voice turn prompts from Google Maps only come from the phone - not from the Minix box or from the car stereo which is connected by Bluetooth. Music on the stereo is correctly muted during the prompt. This also works correctly when the phone is connected to a different Android Auto device.

Some Quirks - Not Perfect But I am Keeping It.
The first time I fired this up it seemed to work essentially flawlessly. The screen is nice and bright and the touch screen seems very responsive and smooth. Then I added my wife's phone to the unit and things got, well, interesting. I am using this in a 10 year old vehicle that does have Bluetooth audio capability, and one of the key things I wanted here was to be able to still use the factory audio system for music, phone calls, etc. I just wanted the screen to provide a CarPlay display, while all the audio kept being routed to the factory system, meaning I could still use the steering wheel volume and track controls, etc. That does indeed work, but perhaps not as smoothly as you might hope it to be. At least in my vehicle, a GM truck, I've figured out that you have to follow a very specific sequence. First start the car, and let the vehicle audio system connect to your phone in the same way it always has. Then, and ONLY then, can you power up this device and hopefully get it to auto connect and start Car Play. If you let your phone connect to this device before it can connect to the car, then no audio will play through the car speakers. So the Bluetooth connection to the car audio system must happen first, even though the setting to play audio through the car audio system is selected on the unit. I can't determine whether this is a limitation in the unit or just the crappy 10 year old GM software, but it is worth knowing that at least I found this part a bit more fiddly than I hoped it would be. And as for Bluetooth connectivity - that also seems to be a bit more hit or miss than I'd like it to be. It seemed to reliably auto-connect pretty well when only my phone was in its memory. But once I added my wife's phone into its memory, the auto-connect now doesn't seem to be quite as reliable. I haven't had it forever, but it does seem like I have to take a minute and go into the device settings and tell it to connect to my phone more frequently than I'd like it to. Once you finally navigate these connection and compatibility issues, the experience is then basically the same as if your factory head unit came with wireless Car Play. The screen is bright and crisp and seems to have decent resolution. The processor seems fast enough that there doesn't seem to be any noticeable lag. The screen size also seems good, not so high that it blocks your visibility, but big enough to be usable. I did notice that after playing around with it for an hour or so with it mounted to the dash that it got fairly warm. We are just heading into cold weather, but I suspect it will need to live somewhere where the AC vents blow on it in August. I wouldn't set it somewhere where the heater vents or defroster vents are going to hit it either. Although this seemed like a highlight when I was shopping for it, in practice I am really not a huge fan of how you physically attach and disconnect the screen from the car. The magnet mount is as good as they promise, but the fiddly little USB power cable connection on the back turns out to be a bit more of a hassle, and it also means that you will have an ugly wire hanging out on top of your dash if you ever leave it off. That's not great, because I think you basically have to remove this when it is not in use if you don't want your car window smashed. Seeing this huge and apparently expensive looking display prominently mounted in your car will immediately turn your car into the one most likely to be broken into in any parking lot otherwise. Fortunately when you take the screen off the mount, the bare mount just looks like a cheap and crappy phone mag safe mount, which is unlikely to draw much interest from thieves. But given how often I will be taking this on and off, it really needs a better, easier way to get power into it. It also really should come with some sort of sleeve or case so the screen doesn't get scratched when I toss it into my bag or stick it into the center console storage. I am leaving the protective film it came with on the screen for now. So yes, this will do what you are buying it for, and once you have it up and running correctly the implementation is pretty polished and useful. And for longer road trips it will be very nice to finally have a full version of CarPlay in my older vehicle. But the implementation here is hardly perfect. The software here is ok but not perfect, and it really needs a better physical connection/disconnection process that includes power in the magnetic connection. If you have multiple drivers, do lots of short trips where you will be constantly having to put this on and off, etc. I am not sure I would bother vs. just using a phone mount. So you should think carefully about how you actually use your car before you invest a lot of money in this.

Quality device with small installation issue
I really like this, it works everytime. It's made of good material, looks classy, the operating system is very fluid and smooth. The Bluetooth connects fast and connection is stable, although the adhesive that comes with it gave up twice now, so if you're getting this, think of getting a vent hook or a different way to hang this because the adhesives give up in the summer.

Wow! The display quality is awesome!
WOW! I own 2 wireless CarPlay displays, and this is the 3rd one. And it is also the best one I've owned! Display: It is as good as car's built-in unit! This is not the matte material kinda display. Instead this is a vibrant and glossy display. The colors on this thing pop! Not dull like the 2 other cheaper CarPlay units I bought on Amazon. Touch sensitivity: It is as good as your iPhone! No pinch-to-zoom though due to Apple CarPlay's limitation. Wireless connectivity: It is better. But not as good as wired ones. Because there's one spot in my street that has way too much of all kinds of signals (it's a place in downtown), so every time I drive past by that spot, the connection drops. Other than this particular spot I haven't experienced it in any other places. Sound quality: Emm Let's not talking about it. It is very quiet (to me)...... I mean u gonna connect it to your car anyway so the built in speaker doesn't matter.

Worth the extra $$
This screen is the 3rd one I’ve tried. Definitely the last. This is clear and crisp in all light conditions in my vehicle. Definitely worth the money difference .

I have an old VOLVO C30 which doesn't have a flashy 'crawly capable' screen (or any screen really), so this has added a lease of life to my car. Very well made and is comparable to my iPad Pro. No lag, touch sensitivity is very good and the resolution and colour saturation are fantastic. It's a little glossy )as is my iPad Pro), but I think that's just the 'thing' these days. The way I have it set up on my dash, it's easy to adjust for the sun light and the included mounting accessories allow for a very clean install. I have it paired with a bluetooth audio receiver, which allows for a wire-free install other than the single USB-C power lead. I would highly recommend it for CarPlay (haven't tried android auto, but I assume that is comparable to carplay in terms of performance).

Une qualité évidente comparativement à d'autres écrans testés, juste un peu cher !

Fantástico dispositivo de carplay e android auto! Arrisco-me a dizer que talvez seja o melhor do mercado...
