Lovely soft quality tape yarn, very comfortable to work with. I have tried working with raffia yarn but find it very difficult and uncomfortable on my arthritic fingers. This lovely soft yarn is refreshingly comfortable, and a pleasure to work with. It is very stable when crocheted, using a 4mm hook. I like it so much, I'm going to order some more in a different colour. Highly recommended

Not the quality I was looking for

I was looking for a replacement yarn because Lion Brand Rewind is not readily available in the UK any more, and costs a fortune to import from the US. I made a sun hat with original Rewind yarn and wanted to make another in a different colour. This yarn feels similar but is not quite as wide or as soft. It is working up smaller with the same size hook so I've had to alter the pattern to accommodate that, since using a larger hook makes the weave too loose. Overally, it's making a lovely item, just bear in mind that if your original pattern requires Rewind yarn, you are likely to need more of this yarn. I would buy this again in different colours for other projects as it's a reasonable price point

Very surprised with this 'yarn'. Very strong, sturdy enough for hats and bags. I used a size 4.5mm hook and got a really tight stitch, but in my opinion you could use any hook between 4mm and 5.5mm as the tape will adapt to the hook size. Will survive a frogging without ripping or tearing!

Takes a while to get use to crocheting with, but good quality
