I always take a silver blanket on any hike I go on, as well as having a couple in the Car laying around. Used up the ones in the car a while ago and needed to replace them after coming across and accident. These are super cheap and work just as well, tried one out before confirming they'd be good enough to store in the car. Can say they do work and keep a person warm and sheltered. Dished a few out to the family as not everyone had spares. Really lightweight and fit in pretty much any first-aid kit, even the small pocket sized travel ones.

Useful at summer to cover windows

I used these for festivals, I place them between the inside and outside layer of my tent. Works wonders keeping the heating in at night, and reflects the sun during the day keeping you safe from the heat. Doesn't rustle as much as you think it might as it's held still between layers. They are really durable so they can be folded away and reused more than once. Good size, I use two for a 4 man tent. Nice and small folded away so doesn't use much space.

Bought for my grandson when he finishes football

I bought this pack of ten emergency blankets so I have one in several pockets and bags. It followed two situations where it would have been a great help as a first aider, a cliff top broken leg being one! I haven’t opened one but they are in a handy size and I hope would be of good quality and fit for purpose

Bought this for emergencies, I keep some in my car. Last winter when out for a walk on the local hill there was this guy who broke his shin, he was in shock. He was unable to put any weight on his leg at all. Even shifting his weight he was in massive pain. It was cold and windy even for Scotland. When we met him, he was shivering uncontrollably. I ran back to my car and got the emergency blankets, wrapped him up. It helped for sure - after a couple of minutes he was not cold anymore. Good thing too because it took the ambulance well over an hour to arrive. Glad I was prepared. Everyone should have this in their car. Very important if someone is injured to keep them warm.

We got these for my father who is always cold in bed. We put it between his sheet and blanket, his body heat is reflected back at him and helps keep him warm. It’s a very low tech solution, but it works. The foil blanket itself is quite thin, and you need to handle it with care or it will rip. Once it is on the bed and under sheets it stays in once piece and does it’s job

Très bon rapport qualité prix pour ces couvertures d'urgence. Qui servent en cas d'urgence, bien entendu, comme le titre l'annonce. Et dont je me suis servi pour les fixer sur les fenêtres (côté extérieur) pour bloquer le soleil pendant les périodes de canicule.
