It’s nice does not hurt my neck. Had rotator cuff surgery and the sling they gave me was so uncomfortable. It would hurt my neck all the time I ordered this and it helped out so much. I would highly recommend.

I've had a torn rotator cuff and had to wear this before the surgery while we were waiting for insurance to OK it. Now this is not my first torn rotator cuff it's just the first on the left side and this sling has been amazing. Even the doctor was impressed with it and so was his nurses. I had surgery on Thursday and it's been very comfortable to wear. Very easy to put on By myself. Definitely recommend this slink to anybody who has to have rotator cuffs surgery. It's lightweight it breathes so you're not bogged down with a heavy sling that makes you sweat. If you need to get it off, you can get it off easy and quick. And the price point for it is right on the dot. I recommend this for anybody having shoulder surgery of any kind.

This is a good sling for someone having rotator cuff surgery. It is much more comfortable than the one supplied by the hospital. It did take a bit of time to figure out the shoulder adjustment. Perhaps the directions could have been better pictured. A live human video versus animation would have been helpful. It is a good product and I would recommend it.

Slightly Edited: After much experimentation, I figured out a way to get into the sling by first undoing all of the hook and loop fasteners, including the wrist closure. I could slip my arm into the sling while keeping my shoulder immobile, but it hurt and I put more stress on my shoulder than my surgeon would have liked. Then I had to reattach everything one-handed while protecting my still healing rotator cuff. I am three weeks post shoulder surgery, and this sling is not working. I will try it again in a week or two, but I fear that by the time I can wear this I will no longer need the immobilizer strap. I had this same problem with both the comfort and breathable models, so I am writing the same review both places. The video really needs to demonstrate how someone can put on and remove this sling without moving or otherwise stressing the injured shoulder that requires immobilizing. My doctor said that I no longer need the padded metal frame that the hospital put on me, but this sling is not a reasonable middle step.

Product is probably useful under some circumstances. With the use of only one arm and one hand, it was not useful to me. it is somewhat complicated to set up. it is difficult to put on. Backstrap is not particularly comfortable. I would not recommend for the frail or elderly. Probably best for young athletic types.
