Q: Can you explain more how the auto temperature process works with the induction heater? Is this a pyrometer w/ a controller that works via the peddle?

This is not a pyrometer. It is not a heater it heats metal. The temperature is controlled through your wattage to my understanding. Hopefully this helps. My son is new to this so we are still learning ourselves

The only measurable heat is the steel being heated. A laser thermometer should work,. Control is included but you’ll have to experiment and log results to get a useful information graph
