Why did you pick this product vs others?: Many Sichuan recipes I have trying lately have listed Xiao Xing wine (Shaoxing wine) as an ingredient. I finally broke down and ordered it and use it in stir-fries, marinade, and braising. This amber-colored rice wine adds a rich, slightly nutty, and umami depth that's hard to replicate with any substitute. It’s especially good in combination with soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. I honestly have nothing to compare it to and I am by no means an expert. I just could not get good Chinese food near me so I had to start cooking my own. Cooking ability: This product had good reviews so I bought it. I cannot complain.

Good cooking wine choice

I was expecting a smaller bottle like a mirin, but this looks more like a traditional bottle of wine. No complaint about that, just wasn't expecting it. Otherwise, great price for a product not available at my local supermarket.

A must have for any and all Chinese dishes

Just what I needed to add depth and flavor to my asian and Chinese dishes! The bottle is the same as a regular wine bottle. No leakage or breakage. Arrived on time.

Not a real alcohol wine but a cooking wine. The bottle has a screw on cap that has lasted over 2 years. The size is large. A fruit aroma when first added to a hot wok or pan.

J'ai hésité à le commander car je ne trouvais pas les informations me disant le délais de la date d'expiration (temps de conservation) et je ne voyais pas non plus s'il fallait conserver la bouteille au réfrigérateur après l'avoir ouverte! Alors voici les réponses: J'ai reçu en septembre 2025 et la date d'expiration de ma bouteille est en mars 2027!! Il n'est pas inscrit que l'on doivent la garder au réfrigérateur après l'ouverture donc j'en déduit qu'on peut la conserver à la température pièce. En espérant que ces infos aideront les personnes qui comme moi se demandaient les mêmes questions!
