Really comfortable
I tried my first pair of barefoot shoes about a month ago, and it did take some getting used to, because mentally I was expecting shoes to be very cushy. The footbeds provide just enough padding to absorb some shock. If I had to describe it, it's like wearing very sturdy socks. When I go outside, I can feel the changes in the ground surface like rocks, tree roots, the variations in the yard, but the thin soles protect me from sharp edges. The shoes themselves feel like they are very well made. They're very light and breathe really well, and the soles are quite grippy. The only times when I've felt like I didn't have good traction was on a smooth concrete floor with the epoxy coating, and it was wet. I have always liked wide shoes with open toe boxes, so these really fit the bill. Sizing was spot on with what I expect. I typically wear a size 10, ordered a size 10, and they fit great. I ordered the gray with black soles, and they look just like in the picture. I previously purchased the white with gum soles, and they also were as advertised. The only things I would mention are the shape of the tongue at the top is a bit odd for me as it comes up farther on my ankle than most shoes. It was annoying at first, because it would make contact with my skin and make me think that something had gotten caught on my foot. The other thing is that the speed laces are typical inelastic laces. I will probably replace them with elastic laces. Maybe Whitin can make this change. Overall, I really like these shoes and have received compliments on them. They seem to be a very good value, and even moreso since I purchased them when they were discounted.

Great for neuropathy
Since becoming a diabetic, I've been having foot pain, neuropathy. I saw the flexibility in the soul of these sneakers and they claimed light weight. Everything is 100% correct. Super flexible, so light you may not notice wearing them. These are comfortable and easy to put on, no knotting required. The toe style is quite noticeable but everyone so far has thought they look nice. The outer, soft and breathable material works great in the summer, but could be a little cool in the winter. I only go from house into car so I wear them year round. Oh, and the souls are extremely "grippy". I've walking on wet asphalt and snow with ice. At 67, you need good traction and these work well. Last item, some have breathing or drainage holes in the souls. These do not. Personally, I would think that water would go into the shoe through the holes, not good in my opinion. Besides, if your worried about your feet getting air, the upper material works very well.

Decent, Low Piced Shoe, Wide Toe Box
Pretty good shoe, very comfortable, solid sole for regular walking surfaces (no drain holes), wide toe box, very reasonable price. Bought a size 10.5 based on euro 43 which is usually a US 9.5-10. Fit fine. I often buy a 44, but wide toe box is wonderful. This is my first shoe with elastic laces. Shoes are easy to take on and off without retying. The soles have good traction, but tend to squeek on solid surfaces. Good choice of colors, not bad looking. Overall, I can recommend this shoe.

Better walking!
Slightly thicker soles make these so very comfortable. My reconstructed left foot has less stiffness and pain. My back has improved. They’re great shoes!

Better than I ever expected
Better than I ever expected. Super comfortable. Perfectly flexible. Plenty of space. Perfect sizing. Great material (so far- will update if they fail or break down quickly) I am a professional I did. I’ve been training for over 30 years. My current shoes have broken down and are causing pain so I decided to give them a shot, but on a budget. Better than I ever expect. 10/10. Great traction, the support is perfect, keeps my toes protected around the edges, and are super easy to slide on and off.. I will definitely update if they break down or causing any issues.

NOT WIDE & RUNS SMALL
I have difficult feet (Achilles tendinitis, rotated lower tibia, and an old injury on one side due to a break that’s developed arthritis) that are long and narrow at a glance but splay extremely wide when I step. I also have arch issues with fallen high arches. I’ve been wearing zero drop shoes for a while with a wide toe box and frequently purchase Altra Lone Peaks and recently tried Topos (which had too much cushion and upset my tendinitis). I do have to use a medical molded arch support on my injured side. My ortho told me to make sure I buy shoes that are wide for my feet and without cushion so I can have stability, avoid pain, and mimic barefoot. Altras have been having their soles worn extremely fast and I needed something that I could have as an alternative sometimes. I was pleased to see the shoes I ordered arrived new. Construction seems fair but not something to write home about, and appear passing like normal shoes (rather than functional beach/water shoes). I am upset they’re not as wide as the photo depicts them nor as they’re marketed. They’re definitely a regular width. The sides are very easily manipulated so if you have wide feet that can push the edge you should be just fine. My feet are not and even socks annoy me so I assume that pushing on my smallest toe will become annoying and will probably become an issue for wearing them for long periods. They also are smaller than expected. Granted I have big feet and sized up. Usually I wear a 9 in men’s, so an 11 in women’s. I ordered what would give me room at the tips of my toes and it just doesn’t. I’m right there at the tip. As expected there is no support. I know some folks said it hugs the arch which I thought would be beneficial due to my injury on my one side but they really don’t offer anything. They’re too soft to offer any structure. They’ll make fine water shoes should I decide daily shoes just isn’t working out so I’ll keep them. Definitely thin (as expected) and would probably not be good for cold weather. Pro: Expected construction Was new and clean Appear like a normal shoe Cons: NOT A WIDE TOE BOX LIKE DEPICTED Smaller than expected No support like advertised and other reviewers mentioned (which I expected)

I was sceptical about barefoot shoes for a long time cause I am flat footer. I wore the best brands in the market but none gave me the comfort like the barefoot shoes I bought from Amazon. I bought and gave it a try. It changed my perception about barefoot shoes and gave me comfort and confidence to do my workout in the gym and on the treadmill. Overall, the barefoot shoes gave me complete movements with no pain or discomfort. The shoe size fitted well and I am happy that I made the transition.

My shoes arrived yesterday morning. They fit perfectly, are super comfortable. I've worn them for stair running, working out, elliptical, and going for a long walk. Also around the house the first day. They are light weight, appear to be well made. Note: a lot of people say these run small, so I initially ordered up. I'm normally a size 8 1/2, so I ordered 9. Huge. I then ordered 8. Perfect. Which is where the free-returns are a great feature - I wouldn't order shoes without that. Additional note: I've had several people (strangers on the street) compliment me on my shoes since I got these. That has never happened before.

Not for everyone, but I like these for the gym or cycling. Nice wide toe bed, barefoot shoe but still good grip and protection. I wish the toes had a more neutral style, but it is as pictured.
