The tie is too thick. It makes my forehead sweat, so I just fold it inward and keep my ears uncovered. I find that I don't need to tie it since I have short hair, so I just tuck it under the cap.

This Bonnet for sleeping is lovely and soft, easy to put on, easy to wear. It keeps my hair from knoting while sleeping, escpecially at the back. You may need a flat hair clip to keep it in place if your a person that rolls in their sleep alot.
