After seeing that nothing worked for my dad's bedsore turned into a serious ulcer, I discovered this product. I thought other triangular wedges would do the job, but with his serious ulcer, it's obvious the regular wedges are not working. Recently I purchased 2 of the Non-Skid bottom versions of the Bedsore Rescue. What sets it apart is that with the non-skid bottom it will be harder for the wedges to get out of position. The lesser tilt degree should be more comfortable for my dad. This is also the only product that I find if needed can be left one on each side, thus won't require repositioning the patient as often. The other hidden Gem is the well-thought-out color booklet that came with the product. There are so many tips inside on how to prevent and stop bedsores, information that I wished I had known earlier. In the booklet, it mentioned why some absorbing pads and diapers should not be used and if needed you can call their support number with any questions. Since my dad was on diapers and we used the plastic-backed absorbing pads I called the phone number to find out a little more about why these products should not be used. To my surprise, the founder Gwen Jewell pick up the phone. I found out that she is a certified wound care specialist and definitely had lots of experience and extensive knowledge on the subject. She was very patient and caring, spent a good 30 minutes on the phone with me, even on a Saturday, and provided so much valuable information. You often hear stories of founders that really care about their products and customers. Today I can’t believe that I have personally experienced it for myself. Ideal for positioning the body to prevent undue pressure on sacral area of a bedridden person. Not cumbersome, and easily handled. Medical caregiver was very impressed with its utility.

Just purchased for my bedridden mom with Dementia/Alzheimers. Absolutely happy with this wedge. Other wedges I used for her she was not comfortable at all no matter how I fixed it, then all the pillows behind them to keep it in place. Annoying! This one? WOW!! BIG GAME CHANGER!! Very easy to get under her, not too high up so no more sliding off, and the open area, perfect offset for her hips and rear end. Sturdy but not too hard or uncomfortable for her. Really great idea for the shape of this wedge. Fits and conforms perfectly to her body and she has no problem falling asleep where with the other hard bulky wedges she never could. Very happy I got this for her, helps to prevent bedsores or relieve existing bedsores. Fantastic product. No more 4 or 5 extra pillows behind the wedge to keep it in place. Buy this, you will be pleasantly happy.

It's a good idea but did not work for us as the patient has to be able to lay flat with legs fully extended in order for this to work. Something you should consider before buying.

product is decent and well made. it helps relieve some pressure. for larger adults with more weight, you would need to purchase two.

You have provided the solution to prevent Bedsores We have eliminated our entire old crappy collection of pillows, wedges, and shaped foam pads and pillow cases that we used to stuff under my husband who is a quadriplegic. I am his caregiver and when I saw that this product was created by a wound care nurse, I became very interested. The shape and contour of the 30 degree angled Cushion provides just the right amount of offloading and can be used in many different areas of the body depending on where you have a problem. I have purchased 2 Contour Wedges and 3 of the Pillows.... and I am so happy I did. This has made my life easier since I can use the products and they stay in place, The material can be cleaned easily and there are no sharp edges or zippers. They are cool, breathable and I don't have to do laundry any longer.... Best investment in a product that I have made.

I tried several times to use this for my daughter. Even though she is nonverbal, it is obvious that she doesn't like this under her. She cannot move herself, except a little on right side, but she manages to move herself so this is not under her to alleviate pressure on her sacrum. I tried it on myself and it is very uncomfortable. The side that goes under a person is too thick; it needs to be more gradual. This is a total waste of money.

Purchased this for my Dad who had just come home for hospice care. Nurses assured me we could use pillows for support and this was not necessary. Dad is 6’1 220lbs. and this was worth every penny! He uses for sleeping on his side and to avoid bed sores. Got the one with no slip grip. Best purchase for his comfort.

Did not sit snugly against my mother in laws back so had to return
