Screen Replacement for MacBook Air 13.3" A2337 2020 Year EMC 3598 Retina Full LCD Display Assembly 2560x1600 (Silver)

Worked great on 13" Macbook Air (M1). One key thing though, is that the computer will not turn on until you plug the Macbook into USB power for the first time. After the first power on then everything normal. Worked great, no faults or errors reported.

Save yourself the $800 + dollars apple will try to charge you. This screen works well, looks and operates exactly like the original part and the Macbook even shows it as a real OEM part under system settings. Brilliant!

I unfortunately dropped my M1 MacBook from my lap about a year ago. It was a fall of about one foot but it landed right on my desks metal crossmember. This gave my screen vertical lines which progressively increased over time. I lived with it for a bit but ultimately put the MacBook into retirement for a while. I looked into getting a geniuine screen replacement but couldn't find or locate one for less than $300. Which would be close to half of what I originally paid for the MacBook Air. I decided to gamble and pick one of these up and although the installation was a little bit tedious I was able to complete it within 30-45 minutes while watching a video I searched online. The tool kit was adequate to get the job done but does feel a bit cheap. So far it's a solid replacement and looks identical to the original. I did do a diagnostics test per apple and it did come back saying the following: "There may be an issue with your display Reference Codes: VFD001" and "There may be an issue with the ambient light sensor Reference Codes: ALS001". That being said the screen functions very nicely. Even with those diagnostic codes I doubt one would be able to tell the difference between this screen and the original. One thing I noticed is it might not be as bright as the original, but it's truthfully hard to tell. It's more than bright enough for me as I usually turn my screen brightness down quite a bit. The only flaw I notices was on the bottom right corner of the screen there is a very very very small red pixel. I have to be looking for it to really notice it but it's there. All and all, I'm very happy with the screen especially for the price. I will also update my review in the future if anything changes. Fingers crossed it will last the life of the Mac.

The screen colors are not vibrant nor bright .. its brightness is low even on highest degree. Also the color are not vibrant.
