Great item, great visual when working with one to one or small group.

As a toddler mum, this timer has saved my sanity on multiple occasions. A great little product for helping with transitions. The segments of the rainbow light up to show time progressing and it can be set for different lengths of time. You can either count up or down, with the rainbow segments increasing or decreasing. It makes a little jingly sound when the time is up. As an Early Years teacher, I have used a big range of timers. This one, although a little gimmicky, worked like a charm, as long as it’s not over-used.

Pros: colourful Cons: small in size and you have to repeatedly switch it off & On at the rotary switch for it to work. It's ok but having to keep switching it off then on is a nuisance. 6/10

First item was faulty straight out the box, returned and replaced with a new one. Last 6 weeks before this one also became faulty. I think you can get cheaper timers on here so I would recommend you avoid this product and get a cheaper alternative

Visual and nice

I strongly do not recommend this item. Mine stopped working after just one short evening of use. What is worse, even if it would still work, it has some serious flaws: The button that starts the timer, can also pause the timer, but there is no way to reset the timer. If you set this to 15 minutes by accident and you wanted just 1 minute, you have to wait the entire 15 minutes before you can change the setting, or you need to screw open the battery case and take out the batteries to reset it. Also, if your kid presses the pause button many times, you will have no clue if it is currently paused or not. Finally, the rainbow doesn't move in a seamless way like you would expect. It just has a few LEDs at the back that brighten up chunks of the rainbow - this is not really a proper display that has any kind of animation. All in all, this is a pretty useless toy.
