Purigen, 100 ml

works like magic i have used it for like 2 years now in 2026, i have a bio load of 6 fish in a 60 litre setup with canister filter, ran one pack of 100ml for 9 months straight and tille the last day the water was like crystal clear like as it was on day 1, definately go for it if want crystal clear water in your tank, and one thing, in these 2 years no dead fish in my tank just one death and that was due to jumping out of the tank at night 🤣

A1 Quality product. From the 2nd day it started working and my water is so sparkling clean. No need of any water clear chemicals that harm your fishes. Really awesome product.

Don't think twice. If you are tired of your cloudy tank water just buy it within 2-3 hours it will clear your tank water in a crystal clear form. Just buy it.

Used it on a new tank with old drift wood bought from some local footpath pet shop (I know, cost cutting on my part). The resultant was a brownish cloudy water in the tank, water changes were not helping. Applied purigen (inside HOB filter), brownish tannin was gone in 24 hours (told you, ads are exaggerated). Now the water stayed milky white, this was due to bacteria imbalance (and probably infamous leach from ADA amazonia). Purigen DOESNT work fixing bacteria imbalance. This milky white water got corrected itself with regular water changes and a bit of help from couple of guppies who accelerated the cycling process. So summary? Purigen works, but it takes at least 24 hours (at least IME), it got rid of the tannin from my driftwood. (4* is more due to the ads which set my expectations so high that I was looking at the sachet as if I was looking at Superman, and then it didn't live up to it's 6 hours crystal clear water claim as they show in the ads).

unknowingly I directly added the driftfood into my aquarium and left it float for few days the water completely became brown. I tried to get rid of that by changing the water. I cleaned the complete aquarium and even soil. tried water changing weekly twice but it didn't help either. After that I checked in google and got this product in suggestions, i didn't think it will clear but thought to give a shot, you guys won't believe within hours water completely become very clean. Surprised with the results added the pics as well.

This is the best thing you will ever invest for your aquarium hobby. It does magic and clears water and removes any tint in water. Also when it is exhausted you can simply recharge it. I have recharged it 4 times now. I used Ala by Rin as a bleach and dip it in small glass bottle for 24 hours. Keep shaking or mix the purigen in bleach 2-3 times in 24 hours. After that wash it properly and again dip it in pure water and add chlorine/chemical remover in that water and leave it for 24 hours and then only use it so it doesn't harm fishes or mix any bleach contains in water.

I bought a 100ml for my 70L tank and it works perfectly with my hang on filter. Water is always crystal clear and even if it gets cloudy sometimes due to overfeeding(which I sometimes am guilty of), it clears up within an hour. Just remember to rinse the product before placing in the filter. I did not read the instructions properly and put it in directly - the water got very cloudy, but it did clear up in a couple of hours. EXPENSIVE, but WORTH THE PRICE.
