Monoherb makes a LOT of different supplements, and it looks like they sell them primarily on Amazon, but you can find them other places as well. The bottle label and website are very bare bones, but everything appears to be in order as far as being produced in a cGMP facility and free of additives and other fillers. It does not mention specifically on the bottle or in the description if this product is third-party tested, but their website does state: MONOHERB exclusively manufacture all products in cutting-edge facilities certified by NSF and Eurofins for cGMP standards, meeting the stringent requirements of the FDA and Amazon. I had not heard of Beta 1,3/1,6 Glucan before, but after looking up some of it's potential benefits, the lowering of cholesterol is what I decided to get it for. Time will tell about how effective it is at lowering cholesterol.

I can't tell if these are really working or not, but I haven't had any adverse reactions. They are easy to swallow and don't have a weird taste. They are about $5 a month, so I'll probably get more when these run out to see if I notice anything. Or if I do notice any changes before then I will definitely buy more. My weight has stayed the same while on these and I did get sick once, so, who knows. I do love that they are vegetarian, come from a GMP facility and there are no additives.

I picked this up mainly because I wanted to add some extra fiber and see if it could help with my cholesterol. The capsules are small and easy to swallow. That's good. I haven’t noticed any dramatic changes yet, but it’s only been a few weeks. So far, no side effects or weird taste either, which I appreciate. The brand seems legit, made in a GMP-certified facility and free of fillers. I’m planning to stick with it for a bit longer and see how it goes. In the end, it seems to be a decent product that feels trustworthy, but I’m reserving full judgment until I see more results.

The biggest issue I encountered with this Monoherb product is that the label does not indicate whether these are yeast-free or not (I suspect they are not). Speaking of the label, it's pretty scant on information, other than it's cGMP, 100% Pure additives free (whatever that means). It originates in India and is made for a company in the UK. This source of Beta 1.3/1/6 Glucan is from Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, also known as Brewer's Yeast. For those folks trying to avoid yeast (and fungi) in all forms, this is not ideal. The seller should have this and other potential allergens and/or irritants listed on the label. I would not order this again. There are other alternatives available on the market in the same price range.
