Man, I couldn't be happier with this cage! I tried out my friend's small rig, and while it's good, there's just something premium about Tilta that drew me to it. After two shoots with this cage, I can confidently say I have no complaints. Initially, putting on the cage was a bit tricky because the screws didn't want to cooperate with the threads. However, a few changes to my setup allowed me to get the cage securely fit. The bottom metal triangle flat coin is incredibly useful for attaching baseplates when I don't have my Leatherman handy. I found the cold shoe on the left particularly handy as it fits my DJI Lidar perfectly and fits snugly next to the XLR top handle that comes with the FX3. Although the HDMI attachment for securing cords doesn't feel that useful, since right-angle HDMI cords are practically useless and anything else feels awkward sticking out of the camera, I just leave it at home. One standout feature is how well it worked with the Tilta knuckle strap, enhancing the security of the camera to my hand—no more worrying about my grip failing me! Also, all the mountable screws on the camera make it perfect for using with snorricams, magic arms with clamps, and more. While the cage does add a tiny bit of weight, I wholeheartedly recommend this cage.

It's a great looking cage that add so many potential mountable options to it! I often switch between vertical and horizontal shooting while mounting the camera on my tripod and with this cage I am able install a manfroto round quick plate on the bottom and side of the cage for easy interchangeability. The cage itself also adds weight to the camera which is good for when you want to do a lot of handheld shots and want smoother panning. And finally, the cage doesn't cover up the front tally lights that other cages seem to cover up, so there's also that. I highly recommend Tilta!
