I decided to get this pond after looking at videos online. Was quite easy to assemble on my own following the instructions but did need a bit of strength for the final tube to fit, this however made the frame very stable. Looks really good and am very pleased with my choice. The fish seem to like it too. So does the cat, she sits and watches them. I love the portholes, fish come to see what I'm doing and I can sit and watch them. Only downside was there was no way to fit any marginal plants which I wanted, this was solved with some floating planters and some pipe lagging. I have also installed a gravity filter i inherited and along with the pump/filter the water is crystal clear to the bottom. Durability only time will tell but, it appears to be made of good quality materials and very well made as I would expect from Hozelock. No hesitation in recommending this as an addition to a garden. One year on and the pond has thrived as have the fish. no leaks and a recent water test was spot on for all prameters. The porthole windows need cleaning every few days, I purchased special Blagdon cleaning pads for this but the windows are no longer clear. I can not see into the pond and can only see the fish when they are literally next to the glass.

This was an emergency buy for me as my traditional preform pond had a catastrophic failure. Can't complain as it was about 20 years old. The pond is amazing! Absolutely beautiful and my fish have never been happier! So why only 4 stars? 30 minute set up as an absolute lie! Took me several hours and in the end I had to get help from 2 other people! The instructions and YouTube tutorial made it seem so easy. It took a great deal of effort to get the top 4 tension bars in place. I understand the need but blooming heck it was hard work. I pulled my shoulder and me poor hubby put his back out. Upside we can sit and enjoy our wonderful pond whilst sharing the voltorol tube and resting our poor muscles!

Just got this set up. It took about a hour to do and is fairly straight forward. I think it is a good addition to the patio and ideal for the two goldfish we have. They seem to like it, however as they have been housed in a 300ltr Aquarium this is a step up and they will need to settle down. It is basically Plastic with a metal frame, on the outside and an inner pond lining that is clearly upto the job. At the moment we have not added much apart from the things that the fish are already familiar with but we will be adding plants etc and see how things develop. The filter, light and fountain are extras but look good. Would I recommend it, so far definate yes but feel it is a little on the high side in price but these days everything is!

Had to find a pond in a hurry as we unexpectedly inherited some fish. This is literally a pop up pond and has been designed to be put together without any tools. There is an external metal frame which is nicely hidden with a plastic rattan effect wall. A pond liner is then hung on the frame and you then line up the window portals on three sides with the external wall. You then snap on the plastic enclosures around the top and you end up with an attractive modern looking little pond. It's a little bit fiddly to put together but is not difficult. It arrives in manageable box which is a little misleading as it appears too small for a pond of this size until you realise that the walls and liner are not solid but roll up. The design is very clever and as with a lot of things these days the metal frame is core to the stability of the unit. The sides are then stretched and attached which give an effect of solid walls. Good price point and good quality materials and as you can see from the photo the fish love it. Would also recommend the hozelock family of easyclear pumps which are just plug and go with very little ongoing maintenance.

I though this looked good and ideal for my 2 goldfish. Putting together was easy till you come to sloting in last tubes at the to. Impossible to do. You can do one side of tube but not the other. The strength needed to straighten the frame and slot in the tubes is impossible for normal being. Asked neighbour who goes to weight leafing and he couldn't do it. Don't buy unless you have incredible hulk in the family. I have hurt muscle on my left side now. Design is apoling.

Absolutely lovely raised pond but it was a bit hard it took two but well worth it I wished there was written paperwork what to do as well as just pictures but lovely pond

Arrived fast and is a very sturdy, solid pond. Decent size for our fish. Easy to follow instructions and the click system is great, but it is not a one person build. To get the top of the framework to click in took two strong adults and for the last part a hammer, it make a for solid structure but is not easy to ‘click’. Certainly would recommend the pond though
