We love this door knob lock it looks nice on our closet door and perfect to secure our closet belonging . Easy to install and great for the price . Works exactly how it’s supposed to .

I was skeptical of a device with this many features at this price point. It went together easily, the features work as intended and the setup was straightforward. No hiccups or hassles, it just works. The lock itself is fairly hefty and feels well made. The door locks solidly and feels secure. Note, the lock striker (?)(the part that extends and retracts when you turn the handle) has a faceplate with squared off corners. My door was cut for one with rounded corners. The other dimensions were identical so this was east to fix by just rounding them off. Fingerprint reader works quickly and fit/finish is nice. Can’t comment on battery life yet as I just installed it, but it uses AAA batteries so they will be easy enough to replace.

The code option did not work, and the fingerprint worked 50 percent of the time. I waited for warmer weather to write this review, because sometimes electronics don't work well at low temperatures. The 2 door locks I bought still didn't work.The door lock we used the most needed more than one set of batteries,so not only have the locks been an epic fail, they use batteries at a pretty decent rate. . DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM, Unless 50 percent funtuality is okay by your standards. I should note, in the attached video I had both thumb prints saved to the lock but only the one worked that time. For the rest of my family the fingerprint option didn't work at all.The company has not been helpful in resolving their locks issues so I will be putting them in the dump where they will cause more environmental damage. ☹️

Sleek look, eas of use.

This for lock is very nice and works good when you get it connected. The app and directions are terrible if this does not connect. I had to figure out on my own how to reset. You do this by putting like a wire into the tiny hole and push a button for 10 seconds, on the inside handle. I hope this helps you. Customer service was great as I had to send first one back as it would not connect at all and they replaced right away.

works good but the battery dies very quickly, i set up a password on the app but it doesn’t work on the door, my finger print works great though and so does the key card, and when you try to charge it it doesn’t work you have to change the batteries every time.

This smart door handle replaced a similar one from a different manufacturer, that I had accidentally broken when changing the batteries. The build quality is far superior, with the housing being made of metal instead of plastic, and the cable connector being less flimsy. Fingerprint recognition speed is noticeably faster, and the Tuya Smart app is a lot easier to use. There wasn’t a satin nickel finish option, which is what I would have preferred; be aware that the silver option is shiny.This handle can be unlocked with small keychain tags called IC cards, which is a nice option for houseguests. The IC cards that came in the box did not work, but after a couple of emails to Foxgard’s very responsive support team, I received a new set in the mail that did work.All in all, I’m very satisfied with the handle and expect that it will last quite a bit longer.
