We had an older knife set (I think we got it at Walmart?) and after a few years it was absolute garbage (wouldn't sharpen) which made cooking bulk meals a challenge.Got this set after looking around (I read reviews to help me decide what products I want to spend my money on) and I can tell you this set is lovely. Everything was extremely sharp out of the box and the handles were fine (I was worried they'd slip/I'd cut myself as I have small hands) However the quality of these knives is evident every time I need to cut anything.I have put these in the dishwasher as well as washing by hands. Sometimes they sneak in there when other people do the dishes but I tend to just wash them with soap, dry them off by hand and put them away.Would highly recommend this brand to anyone looking for a decently priced, quality knives for all their cooking adventures.

First time ordering a full knife set. Very sharp. Just what I needed. Very strong and sharp. Easy to clean. Nice wood block.

Knives are very sharp. Cutting board is beautiful. Everything is great quality. I dislike the badge of the brand name on the knife block but I just try to ignore it. Might try to remove it later on.

I loved these knives when I first got them. They were sharp and felt good to hold. But unfortunately the handle are made with plastic and the started cracking and breaking. So after just six months I'm already looking to replace them. I really wanted to give them a better ratingUpdate 3/11/22Seller contacted me and sent me a new set of knives. This set seems to be holding up better and the handles haven't cracked. I'm very happy with the customer service since they contacted me to fix this. I'll update if anything changes

Well, the scissors are crap and also came rusted and smudgy. Unfortunately, I was a little in a hurry and realized this after using the knives, so make sure you take the scissors apart before using. I should have known especially since the packaging looked like it had been returned previously. For example, the tape looked really old and the box was smashed in the corner. Despite all of that, the knives looked very new and untouched. The block looked new and untouched, also very heavy. So, my only complaint regarding the utensils would be the crappy scissors (rust marks) and worn packaging.On a lighter note, the knives feel, ugh soo good. They’re easy to handle and have just enough weight to them that makes it feel real-if that makes any sense.I washed the knives before using and dried them right away-you must dry them right away. If you don’t dry these right away and I mean dry them completely, then don’t bother buying them. However, I think that’s standard with any knife. Just dry them immediately and I’m sure they’ll be fine. Now, I haven’t had them long enough to say how they’ll hold up, but I think with this set, you’re paying for the style and quantity. They don’t have those old school handles so at least I know the handles won’t come off over time or collect disgusting buildup that you often see with other knives. I’m sure there are better knives out there, but these will will serve their purpose just fine.They cut really well, feel great in your hand and look absolutely beautiful.

I purchased this good quality attractive knife and butcher's block set as a gift for my son-in-love's 40th birthday. The knives are as sharp as they are attractive; consequently, they should be used with caution and never ever handled by young children. If god were reckless when using these knives, god would be cut. Also, the knives, which are dishwasher safe, should be cleaned, dried, and returned to the butcher's block immediately after use. The set comes with a knife sharpener and smartly designed kitchen shears that can be quickly and easily disassembled for thorough cleaning. Meal prep knife applications and cutting steak are almost effortless, requiring skill instead of strength. Cooking is one of my hobbies; consequently, I now resent the reality that I wasted too much time and energy using lesser knives and plan to purchase a set for myself.

these are ABSOLUTELY worth the money did quite a bit of research on a good, sturdy rustproof, chip proof set of knives. I do not put them in the dishwasher i wash them by hand and thoroughly dry them before putting back in the block.

I really like these knives. They're extremely sharp and they look really nice on the counter. They seem to be very well-made and were a really good value.
