Full disclosure, this is the only potato ricer I've ever used. It is well made, sturdy, and works well. I put it right to work as soon as it arrived. It made perfect mashed potatoes and it's definitely easier than using a masher. If you like lumps, this isn't for you. And it cleans up easily. If you're on the fence about needing a ricer, get one. If you're getting one, I recommend this one.

This was my first time using a potato ricer and it will not be my last. I ordered this right before Thanksgiving to give my potatoes a lift. Once I had the cubed potatoes cooked to fork tender, I used a cooking oil mesh spoon to place the potatoes into the ricer without any water. The cup is large so I was able to place a good amount of potatoes at a time. It's fairly easy to push the handle down to rice the potatoes. It took maybe 4-5 minutes to rice all 10lbs. Once I added the cream and butter, lightly mixed and tasted I was sold. Fluffy and light mashed potatoes. I had no issues ricing all the potatoes, no sticky mess. I really like the design of this ricer, it's easy to put the cap on and press. There's a good flexibility to the unit and clean up was a breeze. Highly recommend. In fact my friend ended up buying one per my recommendation.

This potato ricer is excellent. The materials feel high‑end, and it’s incredibly easy to maneuver. The potatoes slide out smoothly without any clumps, giving you perfect, fluffy results every time. It’s also simple to wash and compact enough that it doesn’t take up much space in the kitchen. It was a bit pricier than I originally planned to spend, but it’s absolutely worth it. The build quality makes it clear this is a tool that will last for many years.

First time using a potato ricer. Easy to use, my potatoes came out perfect, soft, and silky! I got lots of compliments on my mashed potatoes. This is a heavy duty so it is not light but not extremely heavy either. I did need to take a break a couple times but I also cooked 10 pounds of potatoes. I had no issues using this brand and came out ready to use out of the box (but first I did a quick wash with warm soapy water before use) and it is easy to store since all the parts are attached. I am very happy with this ricer and looking for other recipes to use this.

AMAZING product, easy to use, easy to clean, fully unfolds 180 degrees, fits fine in the dishwasher and it will be cleaned just fine. Makes perfect mashed potatoes!

My daughter used mine and loved it. I got her one fir her kitchen and she was thrilled. Makes smooth mashed potatoes. I have also used it for sweet potatoes, boiled carrots etc. Cleans easily. Heavy duty construction.

I love this thing! I've wanted one for years and never remember to look when I had time. have used this a few times already and love it. perfect for mashed potatoes, absolutely necessary for gnocchi. love that it has the 3 diff size rice plates. was worried that it wouldnt be very sturdy at that price, but its very solid. highly recommend this
