Works well, just wish it was a little more flexible
drills well but the shaft is very stiff. Makes it a little tough to drill through base plates inside the wall through a small outlet opening. Still gets the job done, just stiffer than i would have liked.

The right tool for the right job
I only needed this bit for ONE hole. So I can’t speak for the longevity. I had a tight fit from an outlet hole drilling through the stud wall and subfloor into the crawlspace. This bit had enough flex to make the bend and drill where I needed it to. The end was useful to pull the new wire back up. No regrets about buying it, even though in my case it has only been used once so far. Glad to have it in my tool collection for the next time.

End of bit fell off without use. Brand new & failed
The end of the bit fell off before use. The weld that keeps the bit on the end of the stick failed. Bit end just falls off. Brand new never used :( bit is worthless

Bad cutting head
First off, let me say that I really like the shaft on the bit. It is very flexible and can drill in an offset without breaking. What I don’t like is the cutting head. If you are trying to drill harder wood or plywood, forget it! It will not bore out those materials. After multiple sharpening and hours of work, I decided to completely grind the end of the bit in to the same profile as a regular steel drilling bit. I got it razor sharp and in 30 seconds, went through a foot of that material and completed the job I had been fighting for hours.

Worked great.
Worked great. Only used it for 1 job so far so can't speak to reliability over time but worked great so far.
