At $50 this is the best sander I've owned. I'm only buying corded tools (except for drills) because of the high cost of the battery tools, the batteries and because I know I can lean on my corded tools and they will not groan or stop. Granted, I've only used it for a day, but I pressured it and it never talked back. The design is terrific because a handle swings down from the machine, tightens and allows me to work much longer without fingers or hands getting tired. The 3.8 amp 450 watt motor is the most powerful unit I could find which means a great deal to me. It appears to be well-built, it is solid. The dust collector (extractor?) Works very well. I wish it felt a little sturdier in my hands... Before you spend a lot of money on a portable unit, give this one a look.

I bought this sander for my carpentry projects and it has exceeded my expectations. It has very good power, feels firm when used and the dust collection system really helps keep the area clean. The 6 speeds are a plus, since I can adjust it according to the type of wood or surface. In addition, it comes with several sandpapers, which makes it ready to use from the first moment. 💪 Perfect for painting, furniture or restorations at home. I bought this orbital sander a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. Since I unpacked it, I knew I had made an excellent choice, the first thing that impressed me was its ergonomic design. It is light and easy to handle, which allows me to work for hours without feeling tired. In addition, the grip is very comfortable, which helps to have better control over the tool, The power of this sander is outstanding. I have worked with different types of wood and the sander has been able to remove imperfections and leave a silky smooth surface. The option to adjust the speed is a great plus, since it allows me to adapt it according to the material I am working with.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this HYCHIKA orbital sander TX106. I purchased it on April 28, 2025, and when I tried to use it for the first time on a home project in July, I discovered it was defective. The motor runs, but it completely fails to engage the sanding disc, so it will not spin. After I contacted HYCHIKA support and provided my invoice and a video of the malfunction as requested, I did not receive a sufficient response. I now see that several other reviewers have reported this exact same RPM regulator issue, but they were fortunate enough to be within Amazon's return window.

I used this sander for a few furniture refinishing tasks and found it pretty good. The dual handles help with stability and the included sandpapers save a trip to the store. It’s not industrial-grade, but it’s a great value for home use.
