I had a different (potentially same as the design is identical) jumper before and this is its replacement. I use my jumper on average 2-5 times a month (helping neighbors and random strangers I may encounter with it) This is absolutely fool proof, easy to use as everything is one way directional and color coded. It charges in a relatively good time, I will admit I don't let it get to "0 bars / lights" but it's more of a set it and forget it kind of thing. If I jump one or 2 cars, I let it recharge within about 3 hours. That being said this ALSO has the great function of being a battery back up as well, while not as portable as some of the more "made for pocket" on a road trip keeping your phone charged these days is a must. I've never had any issues with overheating on the unit itself but the charging blocks CAN heat up. I feel like that's more of a charging block resistance issue than the jumper itself. It does auto turn off as a safety feature once it's fully charged which give me more peace of mind to leave it alone so it can do its thing.

Works as expected battery seams to last awhile jumped my car 4 times good strong jumpstarts and only used one got on the jumper I am pleased with the purchase!!

Great product! Came beautifully packaged and love how it has a light and charging ports for your phone and my truck battery was dead and started it right away 1st try. Super easy to use and has great storage to keep safe. Will foreshore be a life saver when I need it.

Had it charged as I left for work. A fellow was towing a full size truck and it died. I was pumping gas from across the street. Stopped and ran over as it was in my front seat,still. Easy as ABC and the truck started right up. They were happy,and so was I. Good day and great pick.

I got this because I got tired of going to get the battery charger to jump my lawn mower. After getting it, our 4020 JD tractor wouldn't start, so we gave it a try, with it on one battery and the charger on the other, it fired right off (it has two 12 volt batteries and both were completely dead). I have used it on a Dodge Ram diesel pickup that had a weak battery, the lawn mower(weekly), my car, and a tractor. I am so impressed, I own 3 of them and gave one as a fathers day present. I can jump my lawn mower several times before I need to charge it. Yes, I know, get a battery for the mower, but it's on its last leg and I just want to make it thru the year, so no use buying a new battery for it. I would highly recommend getting one just to have in your car in case your battery goes dead. I take one with us whenever we go on a trip, smaller than jumper cables, and you don't have to hope another car will stop by to help you.
