Perfect fit for John Deere S-170. The original lasted 2 years. Hope this has equal durability.

Good replacement for the cheap John Deere brake handle. Installs in less than a minute.

The two pack replacement brake levers look the same as the original. Once installed the replacement brake lever worked well.

The plastic on these is too brittle. They are harder (stiffer) to install and when they are inserted/installed, the plastic tab (which holds it in place) becomes bent with a stress fracture which makes it easy for it to come off again.In a nutshell, these worked only for a little while. (Both came off, and had stress fractures on the holding tab.)A local John Deere dealership only charged me a few bucks for the OEM which works much better.

Yes it’s my John Deere S120 garden tractor. They just won’t last long because the plastic bends and there’s a small one-way clip that will not engage with the tractor plastic. Just make sure you push on the brake real hard so very little pressure is used to disengage the break. The original tractor design is not good but these will get you bye

We've had our lawntractor just over a year so were surprised when the brake handle just snapped (no excess force used). So rather than paying inflated pricing from the dealer, we chose to go the Amazon route.Got the two pack (just in case) and so far so good (used for 2 months at end of season).It's a pity the the design wasn't changed to make the weak point stronger!

Just installed and realized the ink labeling is upside down !! Only installs in 1 direction.It functions, but we will see for how long.
