I am impressed with this pillow. I purchased two so I can also place one to create a gap between my knees that keeps my spine happy. This pillow works well for both that and for laying my head upon. The pillow has a one-way valve that includes an open/close push lock. In the closed position, filling is super easy. The valve is not at all restrictive except for it's size, which is generous, so you can blow full force into it if you want. Exhaling as normal also works, so you can easily fill it at the end of a long day's trek without feeling taxed. Takes me 4-5 exhales to fill the pillow taught. There is an outer cap to protect the valve from dirt accumulation so I expect many years of service. After a night's rest, a finger push into the valve housing locks the valve open for easy depressurization and packing. Air exits as fast as you can flatten the pillow, so you can be on your way at first light, or take time to enjoy an awesome sunrise or breakfast. The fabric is of a weight that I feel strikes a good balance between weight and durability. It's light enough for me to pack two of them for 12 day excursions, but I don't expect one will fail me as long as I don't try to sleep with it directly on jagged rocks. That said, the fabric appears to have enough elasticity that only a knife edge should present a hazard. The top is slightly brushed to give it that feel of fleece. It's not fleece, doesn't feel like fleece, and doesn't insulate like fleece, but it does feel more comfortable against the skin than non-brushed fabric. This pillow has been good for placing between my outstretched arm and my head while sleeping on my side. When on my back, I prefer to turn it 180º from the illustrations, it is more comfortable for me that way. I bring two cotton shirts for sleeping, wrapping this pillow in one is a delight.I do not know the weight rating of these pillow, but placing one in a packable chair makes for some super comfy sitting. This pillow has worked so well for me, I've been able to tone down my weekend warrior glamping with the scouts. Instead of taking my lodge tent, a cot, and regular pillows, I now am happy with my three person packable tent, a decent air mattress, and these awesome pillows.

Works great! Lightweight and compact when deflated.
Lightweight, packs down small, fast to inflate and deflate, fabric like texture is comfortable, seems durable. Bought two. Works great under inflate for my head, so it's more cushy, and fully inflate the other for between my knees to help my hips while camping.

Great pillow
I used this pillow for the first time last weekend. It was easy to inflate, small enough to easily keep in my pack, stayed inflated, and provided the comfort I needed. Delivery was quick, and the seller was great to work with. Why four stars? Because I think people that rate things with one star are just ticked off, and five stars don't really care. I personally read the comments for those that rank items between 2-4 stars to get a more realistic answer. I'd buy this again.

Just buy it. It works great and improves sleep while camping, traveling, napping outside.
I always thought travel pillows were stupid. Then I got this one. I can't believe I was so ignorant. It is really comfy. wrap a sweater or something around it to make it feel more like a pillow. It's great camping. It's a good size for your neck, or as a pillow between your knees when side sleeping. I took it to a picnic that I thought would get boring. I was right, and I got a free nap in. #winning. The pillow has a one-way valve! So you don't have to have serious lungs or two free hands to inflate it. You just press the button on the valve to let the air out.The pillow fits just fine into the stuff sack. It's a stuff sack -- just deflate 100% and then stuff it into the tiny tiny bag. I don't know why there are complaints about this. Maybe these people never owned camping equipment? It weighs almost nothing. it takes up zero space. just buy it.

Trekology wins the pillow choice for us!
We bought two different kinds of travel/camping pillows thinking they had to be the same. They are not. The Trekology Ultralight Inflating Pillow is a better pillow than the Wellax Ultralight Camping Pillow, in my husband’s and my opinion. Why? We took both the Trekology and the Wellax over to our bed and we laid down on our backs on the bed and put each of the Trekology and Wellax under our heads. Then we turned on our sides and checked each pillow. Finally we went to the floor, blew up the sleeping mat that goes under our sleeping bags, and tested both pillows that way. What we found was the Trekology is more comfortable in all positions due to the inflation and design of the pillow. Trekology inflates a bit higher letting the neck be in a more comfortable position. Wellax is a good pillow, there is nothing wrong with it, but we just felt like Trekology was like going to a 5 star hotel, vs a 4 star hotel. Close, but no cigar. We also like the outside of the Trekology better than the Wellax. It wasn’t as much like a blow up raft, or slippery. They were both easy to blow up although the Trekology was a breath or two easier. We each sleep with 3 pillows per night. The Trekology will be the head pillow and the Wellax will be the knee pillow. I don’t know what the hug-it will be yet. Also, if you can believe it, the Trekology pillow deflates & rolls up smaller than the Wellax, not by a lot, but everything matters, both size and weight, when backpacking. I am not sending back the Wellax pillows as they are only for our knees. However, our favorite now is Trekology, hands down.
