Quality of this compared to price is well worth it. The wood used is sturdy and in great condition. Most of the nuts the bolts screw into are pre-inserted in the wood frame and all holes are pre-drilled and line up perfect. Minimal parts and less than 30 steps on the instructions made this a relatively easy self-assemble. Still took an hour to do myself and I also used a drill on low setting to move fast but not split any wood. The height is great. I used the recommended six inch mattress and the bed is for toddler transitioning from crib. It comes up past their stomach so it may be possible to tumble out, but it’s also low to the ground. My only complaint is that the gates insert loosely, so they rattle when moving or when a kid shakes it. But I solved this problem by using furniture felt on one side to fill the gap and soften the noise. Overall very happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone with a toddler/younger child

Very lightweight, easy to assemble and the perfect fit for my son’s room. He sleeps perfectly in his big boy bed without fear of falling off.

Overall love this bed for our 19 month old, she was starting to crawl out of her crib and this was the perfect transition so we feel safe knowing it is low to the ground and she won't roll off of it. Easy to put together and fit the twin size mattress easily. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is it's not the sturdiest, but for the price you can't beat this. Would recommend.

We love this bed for our son! He’s been in it for about 2 months and he sleeps way better than in his crib. He’s currently 20minutes but is in the 99th percentile and he hated his crib. We got the full size and it gives him so much room and on the rare occasion when we have to lay with him to get him down, there is room for us adults to be comfortable too this build is sturdy and we love the wood look!it was easy to assemble and went quickly even with making a mistake and having to redo a side and a toddler stopping us often. It’s worth it!

Easy install and fits a full size bed pretty good, there is some space on the top or bottom but not a big deal. The shortened long side is a little shakey but for a 2 y/o it will be just fine

My daughter was never going to sleep in a traditional crib. This works perfectly for our family.

We had a duplicate piece that should've been facing the opposite way which made putting this together very difficult. Thankfully my husband was able to fix it and we put it together but he had to use a saw which I know most people would have had to go through the hassle of sending it back. Overall it's super cute and I don't mind the fact that the wood isn't real heavy, it stays together sturdy but I don't worry about my daughter bumping her head on something too solid. I wish there was something on the bottom to support the mattress though.
