I have been using this tool for well over a year now. I maintain my loc as well as my son and daughter’s loc. This tool is extremely easy to use. I especially love that the tool is not rigid because it allows it to guide through the loc very easily. So far I have not had one break. I purchased three and I am still using the first one. I’ve tried a plethora of tools and this is by far my favorite and the easiest to use. I’ve gotten pretty fast at it over time. I am saving thousands of dollars per year by maintaining our locs at home and this tool makes it possible. 10/10 recommend.

Tool is great to use on your self reties. Very flexible and easy to use. It met my expectations. I would definitely recommend this item. I did not receive the tool with the initial shipment but the mishap was corrected and I received a replacement within a few days.

I was skeptical of this when I first opened it because the orientation of the hole is different. Typically your loc tool hole opening on on the same side as the curve. However this tool is flat, the the curve going to the side of the hole (hope that makes sense) It’s strange to hold and get used to at first but after using it I’ve fallen in love. I maintain my micro locs as well as my daughters and a friend. This tool makes self maintenance so much easier and more comfortable. Using it on another head takes some getting used to but I love it nonetheless. And it’s really good because it’s flat for those locs that you struggle to pull through with the traditional metal loc tool because this one is slim and causes little to no pain. No snag at all My only critique would be for durability, I’d like to see it made out of a harder plastic. This one now feels like it could snap or break easily.

If you’re maintaining your own micro locks or Sisterlocks, the Easy Loc tool is an absolute game changer! I’ve used the original white hook, and the clip on tool, the yellow tool, and the new brass tool that connects to a bracelet. Each one has its perks, but the Easy Loc tool outshine them all when it comes to self re-tightening. It’s incredibly gentle on your hair, unlike metal tools that can be too harsh and lead to breakage with the Easy loc tool I can tighten confidently, knowing my hair is protected from unwanted pulling and connecting locs together. I have 2 inch microlocs and thanks to this amazing tool I was able to retie my own hair with ease. I have very fine and thin hair . I havehorror stories of locticians snagging and yanking my loc from the root leaving me with traction alopecia. Never again. I am a beginner so it does take me some time. But I am so grateful for the invention of this tool. I have received so many compliments. I can't say it enough, I thank God for the lady who invented this amazing yet affordable interlocking tool!
