I took a chance and bought this with no reviews because my granddaughter wanted it for school. It is much nicer than I expected from the picture. It is sturdy, pretty, and comfortable, with padding in the straps and the back. The graphics are clear and fun, and I know she will enjoy carrying it among her friends. Only 2 things: Don't buy it for the confetti because you have to turn the bag upside down to make it move; the sequins are indeed 2 directional, but they look pretty much the same in both directions. Otherwise, great backpack. Oh, and it's pink, not purple as my computer screen showed it.
