I got this as a bikini trimmer and it works well. You can have guide on or off. Doesn't catch the skin. Handy light to help see what you're doing. Easy to take part to clean and new blades are available to replace if needed. Definitely the best one I've had

Charging: This is sold as charging using 'universal USB-C charging'. It's not, as confirmed by Meridian's support. It MUST be charged using a standard 5V/1A USB socket. This is an old style USB-A (rectangular) slow charger - anything with more current will fail. None of my standards compliant (e.g. Apple & Anker) USB-C chargers or cables work. I have to use the included cable and dug out an old Apple charger from an ancient iPhone. In use: • The power button is exactly where you want to hold the trimmer. You will constantly turn it off unintentionally. • The trim guard designed to alter the length of the trim is VERY pointy and will constantly catch and scratch. • I am not sure about the cause of failure but it slowly stops cutting effectively. When I empty the hair that gathers between the trim guard and cutting head, it starts working effectively again. Maybe it's limiting movement / exerting pressure? Anyway, you need to keep removing the guard from the trimmers to work properly. I do like the Meridian marketing, package, instructions, quietness but in overall in use it's got too many little compromises to recommend for general use. I suspect it's a fantastic trimmer if it's just about bush topiary - short term use, closer work - but for general usage holding back the Mr Tumnus tendencies of a chap's leg hair and all the other things these are designed for, there are better answers out there.

It charges fast and lasts a while also it shaves balls

You don't get a smooth shave, leaves an irritating stubble. The only good thing about this product is that there were no cuts down below.

Stopped working after 9 months and not used that much, the battery is charging however the on off button has stopped working .

Product is not working due to manufacturing fault and I’m now unable to ask for a refund.

Firstly it has an ergonomic handle that fits great. The unit seems very robust and yet is relatively small in stature. Comes with a variety of colours to pick from and it's waterproof making it effortless to clean I had already purchased the lower end model but it didn't have the guards I required but I could tell it was a well made trimmer. This version comes with an adjustable low profile guard that has 1mm-4mm settings. It's the best trimmer I've owned regarding nicks and cuts and just in general It has an easy USB C charging base and expected 90 minute run time. I would estimate that's fairly accurate as I only charged it a handful of times and have never had it die on me during operation Absolutely great unit and supposedly backed with a good warranty for peace of mind
