I cannot stop Looking...
I had some questions about the purchase and Moment took care of them. It comes in a foam protected box where the foam can be removed and put into a high impact foam filled photography case for a perfect fit. I am also impressed with the simplicity and durability of the Moment case system.I've never noticed blue lines when watching Sci-fi movies. Then I put this lens on my iPhone and point it at lights to see how creative it can be. The problem is when I watch the latest Star Trek movies or play a high rez space trading game on the PC I cannot help but looking at all these cool blue lines. Guess I'll have to live with this for life. Meanwhile it is well worth the low cost for a very impressive 1.33x anamorphic lens.

Built very well & helps create excellent videos!
I had high hopes for this lens and I can say it has lived up to each one of them. The build quality is surprisingly high for such a small item and it has a good weight to it without being some rock on the backside of your phone. The glass itself is crisp and clean and delivers on its promise to give you a wider, more cinematic view when filming or taking photos.Be sure to rotate the lens mount for your device so that you get the correct anamorphic effect. If you don’t, it’ll just be distorted and you’ll be a bit in the dark over why you purchased the lens (as I was for the first 15 seconds it sat on the back of my phone).Yes you’ll need the moment app to desqueeze the image, but that app is also a gem too if you’re worried about customizing your images a bit more than the standard iPhone app.Overall, this is hands down a 5 star lens and I look forward to grabbing more moment products in the future!

Unreal
What can I say? Moment does it YET AGAIN. It's not even about the flare production, either, this thing captures truly cinematic footage with your phone. Who says not having a major league camera should cost you production value? You have one in your pocket! I use my lens with the iPhone X and Manfrotto Pixi Mini tripod.I plan to get the DJI Osmo 2 gimbal to complete my little mobile filmmaking set. It's really helping me pump out quality, cinematic, storytelling and content and is just damn fun to use! Moment, you guys are my heroes and I hope you're around for years to come! Cheers!

Awesome Effect but $$$ Software, Lens Moisture, No Live Photos, Hard to Clean
This lens takes some amazing images - nice and wide, with decent horizontal flare (i wish more light would bloom), but requires use of paid software (they don't include a coupon). Rack focus is nowhere near as dramatic as with a larger sensor camera -- it is hard to see the anamorphic squish. Their mount doesn't lock especially firmly, so you have to be careful it doesn't get out of alignment. My biggest complaint is that condensation occurs frequently in many temperature changes and takes a while to dissipate. Even taking it out of a slightly warmer bag indoors would cause condensation for me. Additionally, it's hard to clean inside the camera-facing side of the lens. Even their lens cleaning pen didn't seem to get in all the spots.

Excellent focal length, no raw photo and amazing build.
Solid metal and glass build, true anamorphics, and a great mounting system make for an amazing value. When combined with moment’s own manual camera app or filmic pro you can get some truly amazing videos out of this little lens. JPEGs can also be taken in photo mode but RAW will not be desqueezed automatically for you. When I received my lens I also had to rotate it with the included tool. A tiny little thing I can like. To a flimsy paper clip. My concern in this area is if the tool break I lose to ability to ever rotate the lens again. I don’t think I’d ever really want to but someone may, and there it deserves mentioning.

Allows your smartphone to be a cinema camera
Perhaps my expectations were low even from all the online reviews, but this little lens has turned my iPhone into a nice little cinema camera. I have no intention of being a cinematographer, just want better than average videos of friends and family events. Know that you must also purchase a specific case for your smartphone and the Moment app (or equivalent for de-squeezing). Understand that it will not make your videos any sharper or better (it's still only a camera phone afterall), but it will capture 33% more field of view and give it a nice cinema feel.

After 2 months of consistent use on iPhone XS Max, I am disappointed.
I was very excited to buy this item when I first started looking into it and after much back and forth with myself I decided it would be worth the price tag. The problem began with the fact that this company did not give a proper guide on how to use its product. I had to scour the internet in order to figure out how to use it properly and once I was able to hook it up to my Moment case I then had to make sure I had the Filmic app (another $15) to use the lens properly. I then had to download ANOTHER app called "Desqueeze" so that the pictures I took would look normal. Now I do not mind downloading these apps, however, shouldn't I have been told that I would NEED these in order for the lens to do its job properly? Once I had completed the hours of research and spent more money than expected did I realize that the lens doesn't even do what is advertised. You have to get Photoshop or Lightroom or some other picture editing app in order for the pictures to look like what Moment tries to advertise. Then comes the filter that you have to purchase in order to get the shutter speed low enough so that the video you're trying to take actually looks good. Now you have to go and spend another $100 to get even more accessories so that you can film video's the way that moment advertises! Very frustrating, I've been using this lens for 2 months and let me tell you, your phone camera is good enough! The only good thing to come out of this was finding the "Filmic App" for $15 you get A LOT of cool adjustments that you can make to your video filming experience. But this lens? Oh gosh, a huge waste of money, it's like they say, it's easy to spend $100 but making $100 is not so easy.
