I was really glad to see that the recommended application is only once a day, since there’s no way that I could use this in the a.m. It’s very sticky and takes quite a while to soak into my skin. However, that isn’t an issue as long as I’m using it at night. It’s recommended to use one full dropper every time you apply it. Even with only using it once a day, I seriously doubt that this one jar will last me for four weeks and enable me to assess whether or not it lightens my dark spots. I think what I’m going to do is use less product and only use it on my two dark spots. That way,it will definitely last longer. I’ll come back and update this review if it does lighten my two spots and also if it lasts for four weeks.

This vitamin C serum comes in a dark, glass bottle with a medicine dropper for dispensing. I like this way of dispensing product as I feel less mess and I am able to control just how much of this serum I want to use at a time. Even though this was sealed on the outside, I was a little disappointed to see that the jar was not filled all the way to the top as if some of the product evaporated or I just got less than the full 1.01 fl oz. At the of price of $77 per bottle at the time of this review, I expect to have the entire amount of product. As for the serum, it is light orange in color, with only a few drops needed to cover my entire face. It didn't absorb right away into my skin but within 5 minutes, it was fine with a slight feel of stickiness on the surface of my skin that went away within a half hour. I put this on in the evenings and leave on overnight. My face did not feel heavy or oily in the morning, was soft and smooth with no irritation noted. I didn't notice anything immediate in the few dark spots that I have but will come back and update after using this more consistently if anything changes.
