There's a reason Blue Italian is an enduring classic pattern.
Size-wise, these seem almost like oversized saucers than bread plates, but they're certainly large enough for dinner rolls or English muffins. The Blue Italian pattern is classic, and Spode is synonymous with quality. These are really cool. The biggest problem is trying to get the wife to actually USE them (and the rest of the Spode dinner service) instead of sticking them in a hutch to collect dust.

Italian countryside small pleasure!
Very versatile - we use them daily for everything from snacks to small meals: one fried egg and a piece of toast fit perfectly! The color is a bright and happy cobalt blue lightened by the white beneath - just a joy to see! Microwavable, super easy to clean, ergonomically friendly to hold. Worth every penny.

Beautiful as expected
I ordered this size to make my plate wreath. I already collect other pieces from Spode Blue Italian and they fit perfectly on my wreath along with my other order of 3 dip bowls and a cute blue and white ribbon I also ordered on Amazon!
