Not a film for everyone but Price fans should enjoy it
Although this is not the better of the two collaborations between director Jacques Tourneur and actor Vincent Price it at least works as well as it does because of those two being involved which helps make this mix of adventure, horror, and sci-fi reasonably entertaining. The production is also surprisingly well-done especially the sets, the action scenes are decent, the pacing is well-done, the score is good, it is predominantly engrossing despite its predictable plot and Price is as enjoyable as ever despite the by the numbers script.

Cornwall’s Atlantis
I remember that this film used to be on TV quite frequently, but not so often anymore (either that or I’m not around watching TV that often haha). If you like an old-fashioned film along the lines of “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” or “Journey to the Center of the Earth” then you’re likely to enjoy this as well. The underwater scenes are, to be frank, quite honest (even though I think they were managed by the same team behind “Thunderball”), but Vincent Price is on excellent form as always, with a welcome cameo appearance from John le Mesurier of “Dad’s Army” fame, which make it worth watching anyway.

I usually love steampunk and Vincent Price
I never quite finished this movie. It felt slow and plodding. I usually love steampunk and Vincent Price. But somehow, for me, this one never quite took off.

I have been a longtime fan of Vincent Price and find this movie quite enjoyable to watch. Tab Hunter, David Tomlinson, and the lovely Susan Hart also star in this underwater Sci-Fi classic from 1965. When Jill (Susan Hart) is captured by the humanoid sea creatures and taken to the underwater city run by (Vincent Price), the two men venture on a journey along with (Tomlinson's) sidekick Rooster to find her only to find they are captured as well and held prisoner. An underwater volcano seems ready to explode at anytime threatening the very existence of Price's underwater city rule. Do the "hero's" escape with their very lives or do they become permanently buried underwater with the leader and the rest of his henchmen? Watch and find out in one of Vincent's decent roles. I must say, as a woman loving male, it was hard to take my eyes off of Susan Hart. Very lovely. The movie itself looks really good and beats out any other previous editions to date. Kino Lorber has done a great job on this movie from 1965. Special Features are: HD Picture and sound, Widescreen 2:35:1, Interview with Tab Hunter, Original Theatrical Trailer.

Infantile film about a lost civilization under th sea lead by Vincent price.I thought it would better because of the cover but it reminded me a lot of Journey to the center of the earth with james mason if you have seen that film.Based on a poem written by Edger allen poe? I dont know how that happened, but if you like old 70s films with price this one is for you I didnt like it because of its juvinile script and lame characters.
