Commode comfortable seat.
Just received my riser which I have placed over the plastic seat of our portable commode. It fit perfectly , is soft and the suction cups hold it just fine. It has velcro also but I don’t see a need for them. I ordered a 2 “ regular size bowl design. Quality is very good. I would recommend because of the quality, stability, and installation. Cleaning will be very easy. Mine is dark blue.

Solid construction. Comfortable.
My purposes: 1) A standard toilet seat presses into the back of my thigh causing swelling. I need a padded seat to eliminate that discomfort. 2) I need to get my body parts away from the water. TMI? Mission accomplished. The seat is comfortable and lifts me up to eliminate said issues. This seat is designed to be attached to your existing toilet seat via suction cups and Velcro straps. It doesn't lift more than a few inches so this is intended for sitting only. You are not going to attaching and removing constantly as that would be an involved process. If you plan to stand and have the seat stay up on its own, move on to a different product. Attaching the product is to simply clean the toilet seat, wipe off the suction cups to remove any dust/dirt, put in place, push down to secure the suction cups and then put on the Velcro straps. To thoroughly clean, you will untie the Velcro straps, utilize an included small plastic tool to carefully disconnect each suction cup from the toilet seat, and then you can remove the riser cover to wash. Note: This review is being written the day I attached the product for the first time. I have yet to perform the thorough cleaning so I cannot state the ease of removing the suction cups or the cover. I found this to be comfortable, firm, and stable. The width is slightly less than a standard toilet seat but wide enough for my comfort. You can register the product to get a one year warranty (from purchase date). They provide email and chat support. If I find that removing, cleaning, reattaching changes my opinion of the product, I'll update the review. I think this is a good purchase.

Great and soft for thin butts
I lost a lot of weight 300 down to 152 because of breast cancer and cancer in my spine. No butt fat and this cushion is soft on my backside. Easy to attach to the seat and easy to clean.

3”=Too thick, unstable - 2”=better, BUTT…
I purchased both the 3” & 2”. The 3” is too thick/high for me as It’s unstable and tends to lean off to one side after a few days even with the suction cups and straps down tight. The 2” is better -butt- if you’re a guy you can’t lift the toilet seat to pee and if you’re a senior with prostate issues, you can’t empty your bladder without standing up to pee. If you try standing to pee with the cushion in place, at some point you will drip on the seat. The good news is, So far the material is easy to clean with bathroom disinfectant spray, although the color might be fading a bit. I still use the 2” and my wife uses the 3” as they are more comfortable than the wood seats and they do keep your junk out of the water ;-)

Great, but odd...
This is saving my 50 year old husband who just has a hip replacement this week. I would give this 4.5 stars. The only reason I am not at 5 stars is that it "feels" odd and "not secure", even though it is secure. Maybe it is because subconsciously, you know toilet seats are supposed to be cushioned. When you sit on it, it feels like it is shifting, but it isn't. It is secured with 4 straps and multiple suction cups that stick unbelievably well, but like I said, it feels odd. I give it 5 stars for ease of cleaning. If you want a good alternative for the hard, narrow opening toilet risers for after surgery, this is a great choice. I am NOT sure about use by seniors because of the odd feeling until.youbare used to it.

Best Vacation toilet seat riser
I love this toilet seat, riser it’s lightweight and it works just like the hard ones. I use this when I go on vacation most of the time the hotel toilets are low due to an accident years ago. It’s hard for me to get up off a low toilet seat this here is a game changer I must also say that it’s 30 on the sea. I feel comfortable sitting down if you do the straps correctly it won’t wiggle.

A truly portable toilet riser.
This seat riser is ready to go anywhere with you. It attaches to both round and elongated seats with choice of Velcro straps or suction cups. Even if you don’t travel, it is easily removed and stowed out of sight so your family and guests will be spared any awkward situations. This item is a life saver for folk recovering from surgery or other mobility problems.

secure, not so sure
Overall, the seat works well. It was easy to install. However, I've been using the seat for over a week. I don't feel overly confident when I sit down as the seat can spread apart and doesn't feel quite stable. I'm always concerned that the seat will collapse in on itself. That said, the seat is comfortable and the 3" is the right height for me. I just have to be extra cautious when I sit down and get up.

The raised toilet seats available to rent through the rehabilitation specialty stores in our area are no less than 4 inches high which was way too high for me to use following my total hip replacement surgery. These fit the bill perfectly. Right height and added comfort when sitting on toilet. I was able to rent arms separately which made the set up just perfect. Very grateful to have found this product on Amazon.

This is just what I needed! Toilets are set so low, and I'm 5'8 with bad knees and having to use the toilet made them quite painful. I literally dreaded having to use the washroom, but my fear is gone now. It's soft and firm but it's not too soft or too firm. I don't like not being able to close the lid when I flush but I found a workaround for that., so all good. I like that it has a suction cups because I know it's not going anywhere that way. I could have gotten one of the hard plastic seats that you can put on and off whenever you need it, but sometimes you don't have the time to get the seat positioned. This seat has suction cups to hold it firm so there's no danger of it slipping. I was worried that 3 in height wouldn't be enough, but this is a perfect rise for me. I thought the cost was a little steep for me, but since my knees have no pain from getting on and off the toilet, I can't complain. This seat is definitely worth the money I spent!
