I bought this set once before as a Housewarming Gift for our new neighbors. The Wicker Basket is beautifully made, has sturdy leather straps and a heavy duty handle, and is beautifully lined. It comes with a full luncheon service for four, down to the cloth napkins and cutlery. It’s also insulated and you just have to throw in a cold pack to keep everything fresh for a picnic, glamping or a romantic getaway! I added a small cheeseboard set, a nice bottle of Rose’ and a bunch of gourmet goodies like Artisan Cheeses & Meats, Crackers, a Mini Condiment set, some Chocolate Truffles, and voilà! It was ready to go! My neighbors were blown away at the quality and at the beauty of the set, and were very thankful! They ended up having an impromptu picnic that evening in their new living room, so it really was the perfect gift, and we now have 2 good friends riight next door! So when this popped backup on a daily deal sale, I immediately ordered another one to surprise my Hubby with a Romantic picnic for this coming Valentines Day! It will be something hung that we will enjoy years to come, and is perfect for us since we live close to the Outer Banks and VA Beach, so we will be able to have picnics there anytime we like! I can’t say enough good things about the set. Some may find the Wine glasses cheap because they are plastic, but I see them as sturdy and less likely to break over time. One can replace them with real glass if they prefer, so it’s not a big deal to me. This set has so much potential for personalization as well, so another plus! Very happy twice over!

I wanted a picnic basket for my birthday, and picked this one. It looks how I imagine a picnic basket to look. There are choice of patterns to pick from. I opted for the blue stripe model. All cloth-like materials match. Speaking of "cloth-like", I don't know what the napkins are made from but they don't feel particiularly absorbant. I washed them on a delicate setting with some liquid comforter and they are still fairly rigid. In fact, they fold up exactly as they came. They look okay, but I plan to pack some paper napkins in addition. The utensils and cups came wrapped in plastic. I washed the utensils and plates in the top rack of my dishwasher and they came out nicely sanitized. I washed the plastic glasses by hand because they feel more delicate to me and I don't want to risk them losing their shape in a hot dishwasher. There are no instructions with this product so it was a risk on my part placing things in the dishwasher. If they turned out not to be dishwasher safe I would rather know now and substitute with something that was. But nothing to worry about. The insulated area is well sized and perfect for packing your picnic for 4 people. You could easily fit a bottle of wine or a 4-pack of beer inside along with your picnic lunch. Note that the plastic wine glasses in this compartment. If you plan to pack a bottle of wine I'd be careful to ensure it is not moving around and possibly breaking the plastic wine glasses. There is a 4-foot by 5-foot "picnic blanket" with the basket. It's more a pad than a blanket and probably will not help make rough ground underneath, feel soft or less rough. But if you're picnic is on grass you'll be okay. There are straps on one end of the basket that you use to secure the blanket. My summary opinion of this picnic basket is that it's well priced at under $60 and I would recommend it to friends. I have two young grandchildren and will use this the next time they visit to take a picnic with us to the playground, minus the wine. :)

The picnic basket is very nice and sturdy. It's a good buy if you keep you things nice. I only used it for my foods. I bought a separate cooler for my drinks. I am very happy with my purhase.

Got this as a gift for my mom for her birthday and it is almost perfect! The sheet amount of stuff you get for the price is stellar, plates, silverware, napkins, a blanket, and obviously the basket itself are all great. It also just looks very nice, so much so that my mom said that it could be used as a decoration when it wasn’t being used which was definitely a bonus. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because, personally, I think the build quality of some cosmetic features of the basket itself might not hold up with heavy use. If you’re not going to be using it often, which is the case for my mom who will only be using it a couple times a year, then you’ll probably be fine. However, if you plan on using this weekly or monthly I might consider another option, the thin metallic chains that help support the basket lid when it’s up seem like a failure point for example. But, outside of some cosmetic damage, the basket itself would probably hold up for a long time, the wicker material is thickly woven and heavy duty without being overly weighty. Similarly, the leather (or maybe faux-leather) bands that hold the basket closed also seem sturdy enough. The silverware also seems like it could stand up to being used semi-frequently without too much issue. All in all, a stellar product for the price! If you’re a frequent picknicker, however, you might want to consider another option since this one might sustain some minor cosmetic damage after several uses.

The picnic basket looks adorable and definitely gives those classic picnic vibes! It’s roomy enough for a small spread, and I love the built-in straps for plates and cutlery. That said, the material feels a bit flimsy, and the handle could be sturdier. Great for light use or cute setups, but maybe not for heavy-duty outdoor adventures. Still, it made our day at the park extra special!

This basket was the best purchase! Bought it for our anniversary date. We took it to the beach and it held our wedding cake and a bottle of wine. It is super spacious and has everything you could need! It feels durable and is easy to use! We had so much fun. The only thing is that the food itself has to be in containers that do not leak.. the handle make you hold the picnic basket sideways. This was bought as a gift for newlyweds. I love date ideas and this seemed great. Anyway it looks just like the picture. Great quality, super cute. I would recommend.

Absolutely LOVE this picnic basket that I bought for our 9th (willow, leather, pottery) Anniversary! I am not a fan of the typical plaids & gingham prints, preferring this more ‘coastal New England‘ stripe. I thought the colors were a seagrass green & blue but really more of a taupe & blue - still quite lovely. Someone also mentioned the basket color was off from the photos in the description. I was kind of hopeful that it would be a bit darker like some other baskets I considered, but I found it was the exact warm caramel color in the seller’s photos. Beautifully constructed, the waterproof blanket is much thicker than I expected based on other reviews. Not sure what they were wanting but if it was a thicker canvas-like fabric it would have been terribly heavy. This blanket will be perfect for a layer of protection from damp ground or sand & a fluffier blanket could top it nicely if going out on a chilly day. Napkins & fabric are more of a poly blend rather than the cheap cotton that wrinkles in the wash & requires steam ironing. I was a bit worried that the foil lining would be that cheap stuff you find in lunchboxes. Instead it has a nice thick layer of clear vinyl over the foil so it can easily be wiped down during clean up. It’s hard to see in the photos, but really exceptional quality. Also, the double zippers seem very sturdy. I added a heart shaped cutting board, cheese knives, a bottle of wine & a pottery Brie baker dish to round out the Anniversary theme... SO happy with this purchase - highly recommended!!!
