Excellent quality live mealworms with no dead ones, which was a pleasant surprise. Good packaging and also delivered next day. Excellent value for money too.

Came a day earlier than expected and were carefully packed.Very happy with this seller product will use again.

All meal worms are lively. I keep them in a plastic under the bed box. First thing to do is spricle crushed oats on bottom of box . Then slice a large carrot put all in box. Empty meal worms in to box. No need to put lid on. Even though I drilled holes in lid. With in 19 hr. The carrot hadgone all so the oats. Think they were waiting for drink and food. The meal worms were smallish. Seem to have doubled in size overnight. Sparrows get veg with their food. ?

I buy live mealworms during the summer months to feed to the garden birds. It's lovely to watch the adult birds feeding their fledglings. These worms are loved all birds and can get eaten up in no time at all especially by flocks of starlings, magpies and jackdaws, so I have to ration them and put them in caged feeders that only the small birds can access.Buying a kilo is economical - a kg usually lasts a month. I keep the 'stock' in a large plastic tub of cheap porridge oats, so that the worms have something to eat and crawl through and dispense the twice daily ration from there. The worms will eventually turn into instars (look like little embryos) before turning into mealworm beetles, which then breed creating more mealworms! It's quite fascinating!

There’s this blackbird even willing to enter the conservatory so he could safely grab protein where no one else would dare. I’m out of words.Sparrows are emptying one bag 250 gr mealworms every 3-4 days. So I keep overlapping purchases due to longer delivery times to my post code. Robins touch no other food anymore. I’m glad the hottest nesting season’s few months only as I can’t keep up with these numerous guys’ appetite for treats!One thing though: mealworms smell like 🤢 if indoors.

I have used livefoods Uk before.Always good.Tried a few other suppliers.But consistent quality from this seller.No padding out with wheat bran. Well packaged with air holes in box. All same sized mealworms with zero deaths.No fuzzies or other hitchhikers.Reliable.Thanks 🙏
