This auto fish feeder came nicely boxed complete with 2 x batteries, adhesive sticker and user manual LIKES: Most importantly = the fish were fed when I was on holidays. Comes with user manual but it's easily set up without it. Came with batteries which was great help. Feeder can hold a lot of fish food. Holds any dry fish food Can be attached to side of tank or stuck on lid with the enclosed adhesive patch. Secures tightly to side of tank Feeder is lightweight but sturdy enough for purpose. Doesn't move from secured position even though it rotates. Light colour changes to red when batteries need changing. Great value for a reliable product. No more need for fishsitter. RECOMMENDATION: Would highly recommend this genius fish feeder for anyone going on holidays etc to ensure the swimmers get fed while you away. Ideally for anyone who doesn't have the option of a friend or family member to pop in and feed the fish while you are away. This Feeder gives peace of mind. I done a test run for 2 weeks before I went away so as to be 100% sure it worked and I wasn't let down. So I would recommend doing that practice run in the weeks prior to any away plans. My practice was done initially over a sheet of paper so I could get the right quantity of fish food to be dispensed. This took a few attempts to ensure there was no overfeeding. My fish were usually fed twice per week so had to adjust measurements to get same quantity spread over every 48hrs because that was longest option on feeder. Played around a bit also (again on paper) with the opening on shutter door to ensure amount scouped and dropped equaled the amount required. Once that was correct I then set the timer to every 48 hours and observed for 2 weeks. Needless to say, the fish were happy out with the new feeding arrangements and have got so used to the little sound when the feeder is rotating that they zoom under it at feed time. It's so cute that I've just left the feeder on the tank permanently - couldn't bare to take away their new 'dinner bell'. I suggest this feeder also for homes where feeding the fish is often a forgotten chore. Happy Fish so very happy customer :)

works ok so far if your using outside you will have to cover it as I don't think it's waterproof. the timer switches seem to work ok

I have been keeping fish for over 50 years and have used many automatic feeders without any issues – until this one. I purchased the Atomic Fish Food Feeder and tested it for over a week before going on holiday. It seemed to work fine at first, delivering the correct amount of food. However, while I was away, the feeder malfunctioned and emptied the entire container of food into the tank, completely polluting the water. When I returned, all of my fish were dead – including 3 parrot fish I had cared for for over 10 years and a crown loach I had for nearly 15 years. The water was toxic from food overload, proving the feeder did not shut off properly and kept running. This was not user error – it was a serious product failure. The emotional and financial loss is huge, and these fish were irreplaceable. Avoid this product at all costs.

Works soon as you put free batteries in just press timer. good instructions. Using for first time seems to be going well so hope fish are happier on return from five day hols. Usually they look sad and pick up once I'm home I'm hoping the feeder will keep them happy instead of a piramid feeder. Smaller than I assumed very quite divise

I bought two units for my two fish tanks (30 litres with about 25 danios in each tank). I connected the feeders to the power socket (not sure what is battery life per charge). The feeders kept my fishes alive for a month in my absence.
