Impressed
I am not someone who believes in eye creams, let me start by saying that. I do not have an expectation that an eye cream is going to have any noticeable effect on my under eyes and I stand by that. I am not going to reduce any stars for the product simply being an eye cream, I am evaluating it based on other products in it's category.Product is made in the United States, is cruelty-free, and uses 100% plant-derived ingredients. For me these are huge factors in my decision making process. I have a lot of respect for brands with this level of integrity and therefore my opinion of this brand as a whole is favorable. Given that everything is natural and derived from plants, this should not be irritating to even sensitive skin. The product being safe to use is certainly commendable in my book as well. Do note the product may have a shorter expiration date for that reason, though I can't say I actually checked the expiration date on mine. The cream itself is soft and luxurious. It's whipped which gives it a very pleasant consistency. It's light and fluffy - I do not get any dryness or chalkiness, so not sure what happened with other reviewers. This is actually packaged in glass. I know that sounds crazy that I need to clarify that, but as someone who tests just about every skin care product on vine, I can tell you that even products costing $100 often come in plastic containers. This eye cream comes in glass, as it should. I find the packaging to be an important part of the overall experience - though at the end of the day my goal is to keep my skin healthy and glowing and beautiful, I also look at my skincare routine as a form of self-care.. which is to say, the experience is also important to me!Did I notice any changes to my under eyes? No. But I did not expect that. Like I said, I don't really believe in eye creams, I think they're kind of a scam. As a note, if you compare the face cream and the eye cream from any particular brand, you will often find that they contain the exact same ingredients.. sure the proportions may be different, but your skin can only absorb so much, so that's pretty irrelevant. Anywho, take a look sometime at your eye cream vs your moisturizer... my point being, eye cream is generally just marked-up lotion/face cream. I cannot say whether that is or is not the case with this brand. However, when I do use an eye cream, I just use them to make myself feel good (and realistically, worst case scenario I'm right and it doesn't do anything, best case scenario I am wrong and it does... though I can tell you I've not been wrong thus far in the past 15 years). I am extremely skeptical of anyone who claims that an eye cream magically reduced their under-eye circles or wrinkles... particularly in a short amount of time (looking at you, viners..) ... yes it could reduce puffiness temporarily, but typically that is due to a temperature change and not the actual product/ingredients in the product. Pro tip - keep your eye cream in the fridge. Anywho, all of which to say, though I did not notice any changes using this product, I am not mad about it. I didn't expect to at all.If I were going to add an eye cream permanently into my routine, this is the one I would buy. I would recommend this to a friend and I've actually already given this product as a gift to my parents (so yes, I'd buy it as a gift and I have).

Nice eye cream
I’m very critical of eye creams purporting to achieve either dark circle removal or reduced puffiness because I’m always left disappointed at what I really achieve after using it. been using this eye cream consistently for over a month and I actually like it a lot. It’s a very smooth consistency, like a whipped mousse feeling and I felt that the cream went on my skin perfectly and actually stayed there. Some other creams contain so much water that they disappear as fast as they go on. It has a slight scent but it’s nothing that is overwhelming, and I’m very sensitive to any products that are fragranced - especially when putting in my face. I don’t have a problem with dark circles, but I do have puffy bags under my eyes that I’ve tried practically everything to get rid of and this cream doesn’t take my bags away, but it lessens the puffiness and makes the skin around the bags more plump, therefore reducing the appearance. I’ve noticed it especially beneficial when seeing photos of myself. I’m on the fence about the packaging. I like the fact that it comes in a glass jar, but don’t like that most people will end up using their fingertip to get it out. I have a makeup pallet and knife so I’m certain my cream doesn’t get any bacteria inside it. And I think if it was packaged differently, say in a tube form, then it would be or contain plastic, which I do not like for face products. It’s also pricey. At almost $90 I think it’s very high. All in all I’d recommend it but I’ve removed a star because of the high price.

heavy
This cream is reserved for night use only for me. It is heavy and does not absorb into my skin. That being said, when I get up in the morning my undereyes are nicely moisturized and plump. I have not seen any improvement with the dark circles, but mine aren't really that dark to begin with.

Ew
Maybe long term this stuff is amazing, but... when I opened it it looked dry, almost like chalk, and I was immediately concerned. It goes on the face chunky, and you can't dab it under your eyes like you're supposed to and end up having to smear it, pulling your face. Eventually it blends in, but I put it on two hours ago and it still feels greasy. It is not being absorbed in my skin at all. I can't imagine trying to use this in the morning and wearing makeup. All of that is bad enough, but at this price point? It's a definite nope for me.

Hydrating, brightening. Plumps my wrinkly under-eyes
It is pricey. Most eye creams are pricey. However, it works pretty well for my wrinkly under-eyes. The texture is definitely a mousse-whipped like texture; not creamy. It does feel a bit heavier than a lot of other eye creams, so a little goes a long way. If you have very dry under-eyes this would be great. I will say, I noticed an immediate difference as soon as I applied it. I don't have a puffy issue, but it slightly brightened and plumped the many wrinkles I was born with. It is packed with hydration. It is a very gentle formula and gave me no burning or irritation in my eyes or skin. It also wears super well under makeup. I would definitely consider buying this for the price. It works well for me.
