I bought this hose to compliment my Great Circle chipper/shredder purchased at the same time to shred Autumn leaves. I found it more convenient than lifting armfuls/shovelfuls of leaves into the hopper at my age (70). It worked well although with large wet leaves it was better to just lay the hose down in the pile and feed it with a rake than using the handle to vacuum them. It worked well and greatly reduced the size of the pile at the same time as converting the leaves to tiny compostable particles. It was subject to jamming if I got overenthusiastic about feeding it, but the jams were almost always right at the intake and easy to clear.

I had to slightly modify the bolt pattern because I have a different brand. I would have given 5 stars, but it tends to clog pretty easily. If you just have a few leaves it works great, but we have 70, mainly Oak trees, on a third of an acre.

The G Store leaf vacuum kit failed to be useful with my Landworks wood chipper/shredder (model LCE06). I ordered the vacuum kit in November 2023, a few days after ordering my Landworks chipper/shredder because it was described specifically as being compatible with the Landworks brand. I was excited about using the vacuum to clear my yard of the autumn leaves. I assembled it and attached it to my shredder shortly after it arrived. The vacuum hose appeared to be durable, and it was easy to attach to my shredder. Aside from these positive attributes, the vacuum attachment was completely useless to me. There was very little suction (with no suction most of the time) while trying to use the vacuum with the shredder. That was the case even with the shredder’s damper closed. I finally gave up, disconnected the vacuum from my chipper/shredder, and proceeded to put the leaves in the shredder’s hopper by hand, which took significantly less time compared to fumbling with the vacuum. I am submitting this review now because I noticed the vacuum kit on a shelf while cleaning my garage this summer. I was reminded of how frustrated I was with its poor function. The G Store leaf vacuum kit might work well for other shredder brands or other models of Landworks shredders, but it failed to be functional with my shredder.

Ordered this item to test and was somewhat disappointed . Right out of the box , assembly should have been simple , however when attaching the handle the hole for the screw was drill over a ridge so there was no way to put the bolt on (see pic) . I ended up putting a small screwdriver in just so I can continue the test . No problem attaching the coupler to the chipper or attaching the hose . It appeared to have ok suction and it did pick up leaves on pavement and lawn without clogging the tube but brutally slow process. The tube can be a struggle to work out and being only ten feet you would constantly be moving the chipper . If you don’t attach the tube properly .. the intake will want to face up being as ridged as it is . I also made a pile of leaves and tried to suck up the pile … for the most part it’s doable but painfully time consuming . As other reviews said , it’s quicker to just put handfuls in the hopper . Lastly , the drilled a hole in the top of the intake and have some cheap , cut pvc sleeve over it . I can only assume it to clear clogs since there is no explanation as to its purpose . All in all .. for very small jobs or around landscaping , probably ok , other than that… more hassle then it’s worth . I will be returning this attachment and just dropping the leaves in the hopper

The vacuum comes with 2 different adapters to connect it to your wood chipper. The directions don't indicate which one is needed based upon your chipper, so you just have to figure it out. Was a bit confusing at first, but not a show-stopper. It takes a while to learn the best approach for mulching piles of leaves. The tube can get clogged at times, but once you learn how to use it, it is much easier than dumping piles of leaves into the top feeder of the chipper. The product seems very durable. I'm glad I purchased it.

Works fine but keep in mind that you cannot suck a ton of leaves at once. You must use axsweeping motion for continue feed. Best use is to bring leaves to chipper and then vacuum. Moving the entire unit can be done but not necessarily easily. Have to move chipper and chute together at same time. Just easier to bring leaves to vacuum instead. Tremendous back saver. One side point is for bulk feeding into shredder, I feel manually feeding into shredder with leaf rake works faster than using vacuum attachment. Depending on how you plan to use would depend on recommending purchase. For my intended application it worked well for me. My application was to clean up garden leaves and debris and prepare the ground for a fresh batch of leaf mulch which then was done by manually loading the shredder chute. The vacuum attachment is very easy to put on and take off.

When the collection bag is on the chipper/shredder, there is not enough suction to pull leaves into the mechanism reliably. It clogs rather quickly (mostly at the end that touches the leaves). If you slow down enough to prevent clogging, the rate of collection is poor. The suction improves if the collection bag is not attached. But even then, the collection rate is not acceptable (to me). And this defeats my primary use case for the machine: to shred leaves for mulch in my garden. (Yes, the leaves I was shredding were dry and free of sticks. Almost all of these leave were maple, so an average size leaf.) A positive comment -- this attachment is very well made. This is a very nice chipper/shredder. So when I abandoned the suction attachment, I could feed my leaves into the hopper very quickly, filling the collection bag in less than 5 minutes. I really wanted this to work. I am disappointed.
