TSA Compliant!
Recently went on vacay to Barbados, wanted a lil pocket friendly multi-tool. Fit & finish is nice and has a good "heft" (while still being light & small enough to not cause any discomfort). No slop with any of the tools. A very nice feature is when the tiny scissors (good for tag & loose thread removal-nose hairs too!) are folded away there isn't any tension on the spring that makes the scissor jaws spring back open when its deployed/in-use. (Unlike some other BIG multi-tool brands...)So, the scissors should work for a very long time. They're functionally sharp too. The black painted (?) outer handle finish is quite durable I dropped it a couple times on concrete- LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED! Easy to use-its good to have finger nails w/just enough length (1/32") to catch the various tools with. Some may say it's a bit spendy- I think it's perfect. Ive already given some out to some friends before their trips and I'll be sending more out for Christmas!

Useful Tool That Packs A Lot into a Small Space
This item appealed to me mainly because of its size and the fact that it is TSA compliant. I had not seen a similar tool advertised this way. It will easily fit in the watch pocket of a pair of jeans. It appears to be a quality item, not cheaply made. It snaps together securely, yet it easy to open and access the tools. The tool, although small, is easy to use, and fits comfortably in your hand. Although I will not need all of the 9 featured tools (e.g. the SIM extraction tool), it contains the essentials one would need for average jobs around the house or office (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers). I will make sure this goes with me the next time I fly.

MAKES A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION
BLUF: A nice resource at a very reasonable price point. However, durability is unknown since I just got this, and my use case is relatively light. Pros: (1) No knife, no awl, no saw means that this can be carried in places where a traditional multi-tool would not be accepted either by formal rule or by custom. (2) The flat head and Phillips are surprisingly sturdy. I used them to adjust an interior door by tweaking the hinges without difficulty - a task that my similarly sized Victorinox Office Manager struggles with. The shape of the flathead also works ok’ish as a two-dimensional Phillips. (3) Scissors can cut through zip ties and (admittedly cheap) string trimmer easily. To be honest, many things that folks use a knife for can also be done with a good pair of scissors. Without freaking out the Karen in the cubicle next to yours in the office (4) Price point means that this can be a “disposable” tool that can be replaced after a couple of years if – for example – the scissors spring breaks. Cons: (1) The Nextool web page says there is a one-year warranty. It would be nice if that was a little longer and/or there was more obvious guidance on how to access that warranty. Though, that would likely increase the price. (2) I’m not sure what I can use the sim card tool for at this time. It has been a while since I’ve gone on international travel, but is changing out sim cards in one’s personal phone still a thing that happens on overseas trips? Some of my electronics have tiny reset buttons that this could be used on, but do I need that tool in my pocket every day? (3) Scissors are extremely impressive, but the shape and size make them a bit uncomfortable to use as the handle digs into the pad of my thumb. (4) There is some play in the handles in general and, noticeably, when using the Phillips. I’ve included some pictures to compare tools/sizes to a Victorinox Super Tinkerer and Office Manager. Recommendation for manufacturer: I think there is a small but very real market for a bladeless multi-tool. I suspect Roxon with their Flex Tool may take the lead in this area (since one can build a bladeless tool on that architecture). But for what it is worth, I would recommend something bigger than this tool, but around 90 mm or so. Include a flat head, Phillips, (or a bit driver), larger scissors, and a bottle opener. I don’t think pliers/wire cutters are needed for this type of tool, but I may be wrong. Consider adding something with a removable blade like a scalpel holder or utility knife or hobby knife. This would be great for nurses, teachers, office workers, or anyone that likes having a functional multi-tool but doesn’t want to make others feel uncomfortable in a non-knife tolerant environment. Conclusion: I like this product and assuming I can get a couple of years of use out of it, would buy it again.

Capable little tool, perfect for EDC
This thing is nice, works perfectly and I'm glad it's TSA-safe. I'm hoping I don't have any issues with it during my future travels. Will update this review if I do. It's a perfect form factor, feels smooth mechanically and also pretty tough for it's size. Already used it for several things, including takedown and reassembly wire fencing. This tool is part of my EDC and so far I have 0 complaints

Good tool to keep in your pocket.
Great pair of pocket pliers, they’re small I got them to pull staples out of lumber before I plane them. Locks open solid.

Just ok
It's alright. The tools are very difficult to open at first and I had to apply some lubricating oil to even be able to get the scissors out without feeling like my fingernail was going to break. The players are very small but feel reasonably robust. The cutters are so small I'm not sure why they even included them. Not sure what I would use those for. The scissors are decent as well (if you can manage to open them) but not close to victorinox scissors. For a bladeless tool this small I think it's probably better to just skip the plyers and go with one of the victorinox offerings.

Great Potential, Major Functional Flaw, and Zero Customer Support
UPDATE: 2 stars to 4 stars. After my initial review, the NexTool team reached out to apologize and offer a full refund, which I accepted. I then decided to give them another try and ordered a replacement. I'm happy to report that the new one works as expected and doesn't have the issues the first one had. I'm satisfied with it and plan to purchase more from them in the future. This mini multitool has excellent potential, but it is severely let down by a design flaw and completely unresponsive warranty service. 🛑 The Product Flaw The main issue is with the flat head and the SIM tool. They do not lock securely into place. During use, even with light pressure, they push back beyond their locking point, causing them to move and shift constantly. This makes them essentially unreliable for practical use. 🚫 Warranty Service Failure My experience with their customer support was very poor: I reached out one month after the return window closed on Amazon (Bought 9/26/25) and provided all requested information (photos, videos, etc.) to demonstrate the fault. The company claimed they did not receive the materials, forcing me to resubmit them multiple times. After several attempts to follow up, I was met with complete silence. Even my final request for a response asking for a reply to avoid this public review went unanswered. Final Takeaway While I might have received a faulty unit, the bigger issue I see is with the company's unreliable and non-existent customer support, it's unacceptable. Buyers should be aware that if they have an issue, they may receive no assistance.
