Very bright.

This is more of a 3 star item for me, but I'm giving it some benefit of the doubt, since it's meant for pianos and I was trying to use it at my desk. It's very heavy duty and very bright! The clamp is sturdy and easy to use. The gooseneck's stiff and not very bendy, but that's probably okay for its intended purpose. But my biggest issue with this lamp is that the neck doesn't hold it in place very well and the lamp sags. Which maybe isn't a problem (or noticeable?) if you have it hanging over a piano, but I couldn't get it to stay in one spot. It just kept drooping.

I purchased this lamp to illuminate my screenside book holder. Good quality light and does not get too warm. Easy to adjust. It does not seem to mind not being attached to a piano.

I have used this light for a month now .Very pleased with the quality of construction . As others have said The light is bright but not overly to the point it causes a glare . What I like is there are no batteries used . Over the years I went though three different music stand lights and was never satisfied with the quality of the LEDs .which claim to have different brightness but all were dull or did not cover the music sheet completely .

Nice big bright light that covers the whole music rack on my piano. One thing I would change if I could is the location of the switch. It's located about a foot down the power cord. It would make more sense if it were either on the part that clips to your stand or on the light itself.

Goose works fine

This is a nice lamp! The clamp is strong and easily used. It has a flexible gooseneck that actually holds the lamp where it is placed. I like the options provided by the power supply. There is a wall socket power adapter that is separate from the power cable. Since the connection is USB A, power can come from the wall, or a rechargeable power supply. The light is bright white and allows easy reading of text/notation. It is also wide enough to illuminate a wide area of sheets. It also comes in a carton that has a handle, so, if one is careful, it could be used as a carry/storage case. It's a nice lamp!
