A very good alternative to the original microsoft surface keyboard. Built is good and feels premium, battery life is also long. I don't think I would still buy the original keyboard.

Better than the Microsoft keyboard because: - Can be used detached which is a HUGE benefit (with the screen elevated) - No exposed electrical contacts (I bought this keyboard because the exposed electrical contacts of the Microsoft keyboard have become unreliable). Worse than the Microsoft keyboard because: - Not as rigid: the whole keyboard bends and flexes when typing in the elevated position, which is annoying. - Enter key is single height - Backlighting switches off very quickly and does not seem to be changeable. If in a dark room, the first keystroke is often wrong. - Slightly bulkier and heavier (understandable, as there is a battery), but the overall impact is very marginal. You really need to put both keyboards side by side to see the difference. Otherwise, keys and touchpad are equal to Microsoft (both very nice). In the end, it is half the price of Microsoft, similar quality, but with a battery and bluetooth. I am never buying Microsoft keyboards again. Their margins must be ridiculous.

Been using this item but all of a sudden the product stopped working. Feelong disappointed. Amazon is there waranty on this product?

It’s not good. It has stopped working within a month time. Started with touch pad now no more alive.

Bad product, doesnt work 90% of time.

Keyboard is fine the track pad is quite bad its very laggy and ive had issue with it always zooming in and out of things when using normally Also keep in mind as its a 3rd party keyboard the laptop still thinks its in tablet mode

I purchased this keyboard as a replacement for the original Surface Pro 7+ keyboard, which I had been using for almost three years. Unfortunately, the official Microsoft version was unavailable on e-commerce sites and through resellers. Initially, I tried to save some money by ordering a cheaper option worth Rs. 3K or so on Amazon. However, the seller was not prompt in delivering, and Amazon ended up cancelling the order. In hindsight, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as my second order—this keyboard—has proven to be an excellent choice. The keyboard is superb, with no noticeable difference in performance compared to the original. It connects instantly via Bluetooth as soon as I power on the Surface, with no typing lag whatsoever. It can be magnetically attached for seamless use, or I can keep the tablet and keyboard separate if needed. It has been five days since my purchase, and I have yet to recharge the battery. The design and build quality are excellent, with precise cuts and a customizable backlight. The only minor drawback is that the lettering on the keys isn't as bright as on the original, but it's still manageable. I’m hopeful that this keyboard will last for another three years or so. The seller on Amazon was very prompt and attentive. Even though I had to wait nearly 20 days for the delivery, they kept me updated periodically through emails till the day it reached me, which I truly appreciate.

Bought as a replacement for my surface pro 4. Yes it still works just needed a new keyboard. The replacement is sturdy and connects with out an issue. I actually like it better since it doesn’t drain the computers battery. Good value replacement
