The INKEY List Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm

Listen to me this is my second bottle of this product. Where I live, this usually sells for over $10, so when I saw it for $7, I ran and bought it. No hesitation. This is honestly everything that’s right in a lip balm. The ingredients are great, and like I said, this is already my second one… and I fully plan on buying more (especially when they’re on sale). Now, let’s be realistic: this is not a miracle product. Don’t expect to go from the thinnest lips in the universe to full-on bee-stung lips overnight — obviously not. What it does do is help smooth and fill in the tiny lines that start forming with age. At night, I use a drop of hyaluronic acid on my lips, then I apply this on top, and if I have time, I seal it with a little Vaseline. Trust me, that combo works. The flavor is honestly not great kind of like burnt plastic lol and it doesn’t really smell like anything. But honestly, that might be a good thing because it stops you from licking your lips all the time, which is one of the main reasons people have dry lips in the first place. Saliva is the enemy. Overall, I really think this product gets it right. I love that it comes in two tinted shades and also a clear one. It’s simple, effective, and it works.

I used to buy these at Sephora, but when I found them on Amazon for half the price, I bought several! Love these for a little extra pop in the lips. Keeps them soft, and supple. But if you're looking for a "lip filler" affect after a month, this product is not it. The only way you're going to get that, is to get actual LIP FILLERS. This will help with fine lines on your lips though. Best clear balm on the market, imo.

This stuff is terrible! It smells and tastes bad but gives no plumping or moisturizing at all. Very disappointed in Inkey List. You are better off with lanolin or Vaseline. Wish I could return it.

In the four weeks I’ve used this, there was no plumping. It did hydrate my lips and left them soft, but never made them feel ‘plump.’ I got this for fun, and it works fine as a lip mask. The taste/flavor of it though is awful; bitter and also kind of gritty? Loved the color and way it kept my lips from drying out, but probably won’t get again.

Does not plump whatsoever. I still love this formula, though and would recommend. It feels amazing on the lips. Not sticky, just glides on and adds a touch of color.

I love this stuff. I carry it everywhere. It’s moisturizing, plumping, and I’d say a little exfoliating. Makes your lips look nice and feel smooth and plump. Not spicy or hot feeling on your lios

I was looking for something comparable to PCAs hyaluronic acid lip booster without the price tag. This product didn’t add a lot of hydration for my lips. I also wasn’t too fond of the texture probably due to it being a balm and not a gloss. The color is pretty and if I were more consistent with it, I may have noticed a plumping effect.

This has quickly become part of my skincare routine. My lips feel moisturized and look healthier overall. The formula is great, no irritation and a nice shine, but the applicator tip could be a little smoother. I had to file mine down, it was really rough (see attached photo before I filed it). I’d still repurchase because the balm itself works so well.
