Masque Vivant – Soothing | Biologique Recherche

So it's brown and sticky, and apparently helps with sebum (yay) without drying (extra yay) which a lot of people on the internet will attest to, but having been scared off by the scent (which I can only describe as "hippy brewer's yeast at a multi-day anti-deodorant festival" I haven't exactly noticed those remarkable effects yet. However I do not doubt they occur as there is no way other people are slathering this molasses-like consistency goo on their faces for no reason. Probably. I mean, people are weird. Almost as weird as this smells. But if it works, it works! (And the smell won't linger once you've rinsed off, just don't say I didn't warn you when you first put it on).

I collect product. Smells gross (yeast) and looks terrible (brown and gooey) so I had low hopes in spite of the brand. Then I washed it off after 20 mins. I have never, ever, felt my skin so soft. I don’t know what voodoo magic is in this but wow. Have used it about 3-4 times since — it’s not as amazing as the first time but it’s consistently doing amazing things to my face.

Product I received is expired and unusable. The dates were tampered with so I am not able to see actual expiration date. Disappointing given how expensive this product is and I cannot use or return it.

I had high hopes for this mask after hearing all the hype, but honestly, it’s just… fine. The smell is very strong and not pleasant, which I expected, but still – it’s tough to get used to. It does leave my skin feeling clean and a bit tighter, but I didn’t notice any major difference after several uses. For the price, I expected more visible results. Maybe it works better for other skin types, but for me, it was just average.

It was my dream to try this mask. Now I want everything from biologique

I saw this all over as one of the best masks for your face and let me say, not so much! The smell alone is so bad I could barely stand to keep it on. It’s extremely sticky so you better have an applicator . I didnt Notice any difference to my skin, not more moisturized, glowing or really anything. This is way too much money on this !
