This tasted good & helped with my gut, just sucked that it didn’t last long because it had so many healthy benefits & more of those important mushrooms.

I'm not going to lie: At first I was disappointed with how little there is in this 2 ounce bag. I thought I was getting more, BUT when I saw how much organic mushrooms cost at the supermarket, plus the work it takes to dry and make it into a ground powder then it's clear why these mushrooms cost what they do. Plus, even with 1/4 of a teaspoon, I get immediate relief. It's exactly the way it's described: a sense of relaxation and calm, and everything becomes clear and quiet: It really helps your mind focus and makes your brain more sharp but without the jitters of caffeine as there is no caffeine in this product, which is exactly what I wanted. I had never tried reishi before (once I was going to try it at an acupuncture place), but unfortunately I was kinda scared of it. Now, I am in love. Reishi is great for balancing my hormones, and man, did I really feel the effect of this when I got my period. My hormones were all over the place, and I decided to take a little more (half a teaspoon), and damn was this amazing at helping me as if I didn't have my period. My mood changed and got more positive, and I didn't feel the fatigue I was feeling before. This works. Sure, it's not cheap, but for me it lasts a long time because a little goes a long way for me. I kinda see it as if I'm micro-dosing daily with 1/4 of a teaspoon and then when I get my period, I take half a teaspoon, and it works like a miracle. If you read more about medicinal mushrooms---especially reishi---you can tell there's a lot of healing properties to them. I mean have you seen a picture of reishi in the wildi? It looks so trippy. You can tell this mushroom is going to do some good. - V

I used to be able to buy the little packets of this through Whe Foods but can now only find this online. It mixes well with coffee and helps me to stay regular. But buying it in the bulk form (if you can say 2 oz is bulk) it is way expensive for daily use for me. If the price would be more competitive I would consider regular daily use.

Okay, a lot of reviews point out that the math doesn't add up. It would be nice if they just figured that out and rejected that on the label. Done. As for the product itself? Amazing! This review is for the Balance blend. I started using adaptogenic powder blends a few years ago and they made a huge difference in my hormonal balance, stress management and overall well-bring when I paired it with eating well, exercising, and sleeping - I had already been doing all those things, but within a month of adding adaptogenic powder blends, I was just so much more energetic and balanced. Then I got pregnant and stopped taking the powders, had my baby, and then finally decided it was time. The company I used to buy changed their formula, and instead of feeling invigorated, I felt like my brain was on steroids and crashed hard an hour later. So I tried this. This has been nothing short of a miracle. Along with the baby came a military move from Hawaii to Seattle, and I couldn't deal with the SAD, no matter how much fish I ate or vitamin D I took. I was up to 3-4 cups of coffee a day. I added half a scoop to my morning coffee and I'm down to 1.5 cups a day, the rain comes in and instead of feeling like there's a vice on brain, I just feel... Normal. It's amazing. So yeah, the price per serving is totally misleading. And it tastes a little like cinnamon dirt, but it blends into my coffee well and, really, what do you expect? It's mushrooms. But I'm going to keep buying this stuff. It is saving my sanity.

I really wanted to like this product, but it did not work for me. Pros: It dissolves well in warm water. The taste is earthy and not bad. Cons: I felt like a zombie the next day. I took the Adaptogen Blend in the evening. I slept really good, soundly. However, the next morning, I felt exhausted to the point of unfunctional. I had to take the day as an R&R day. I could not function. The feeling I had was just really tired, and mentally zoned-out. As if I had partied all night-long and was trying to function on 2-3 hours of sleep. The zombie feeling was horrible, so I will not try Adaptogen Blend again, I'm afraid of getting that same result. I don't have the luxury of taking R&R days whenever I feel like it. As I mentioned, I really wanted this Adaptogen Blend to work for me. This may work for someone else, just not me. I am disappointed, as I only used the product once. I am now left with a product that I can not use. For reference: I am in my 50s, and I do not have issues sleeping. I bought the product to help with daily environmental stress. I used the small scoop that comes with the product, I took exactly 1 scoop to make my tea. A suggestions: Perhaps is to have samples at a price of 1 packet at $1 or $2. I bought the Four Stigmatic Mushroom Blend Defend as well. I will be writing a review for it. I did not do very well with it either. Again, another disappoint and $26 down the tubes. UPDATE: I tried to write a review for the Four Stigmatic Mushroom Blend Defend, but it no longer appears on my list for product reviews. I am not sure if it is because the Adaptogen Blend and the Defend Blend are from the same company. Since I am no t able to write a separate review for the Defend Blend, I am placing it here below. Four Stigmatic Mushroom Blend Defend The following day this tea blend made me feel out of sorts. Pros: Dissolves well, and doesn't taste bad. Cons: Out of sorts, sluggish feeling. As with the Adaptogen Blend, I had my evening tea using the Defend Blend. I slept very well. The next morning, I woke-up sluggish and out of sorts. I did not feel zombie-like as the Adaptogen Blend left me. I just felt lethargic and just not feeling like my normal energetic self. As opposed to the Adaptogen Blend, I did not have to take an R&R day, but I felt blah all day. As the Adaptogen Blend, I will not be taking the Defend Blend again. I do not like this feeling of lethargy. I can't function like this. I used the small scoop that comes with the product, I took exactly 1 scoop to make my tea Defend Blend tea. Again, this is how my body has reacted to these blends. It may help others. Another disappointment with this company and product. I highly suggest sample packets so people can sample first before having to pay $26 for 2oz cans. My purpose of buying the Defend Blend was to supply my aging body with good immune support.

It was a great additional kick to my morning hot drink.

Es wundert ja schon, wenn auf der Verpackung vermerkt ist, dass der Bleigehalt evtl hoch ist... Habe diese Mischung zwei, drej mal nur genommen. Wie ich es von anderen Mischungen kenne - im Kaffee. Mein Magen hat jedesmal mit spürbarer Übelkeit reagiert. Nach zwei Tagen, hat mein Körper mit einem Ausschlag reagiert am kompletten Körper. Das gab es bisher noch nie. Ob sich um eine Reishi Dermatitis handelte, die aber dann normalerweise anders aussieht, oder andere Verunreinigungen vorlagen, werde ich wohl nie erfahren. Ich hatte so etwas jedoch noch nie zuvor und dieses Produkt geht direkt in den Müll.

Geschmack ist echt Eckelhaft.

Shocked, I thought if you buy products in Germany from Amazon that they are safe…this product states: warning: consuming this product can expose you to chemicals such as lead! This is going unfortunately in the trash, i care about my health…
