I was skeptical at first, but this sleeve made a huge difference. Before installing it, my AC exhaust hose measured 94°F, and I could feel the heat radiating into my office. After wrapping it, the hose temperature dropped to 83°F in just 30 minutes, and the ambient heat was gone. I couldn’t feel that wave of hot air anymore, and my AC was finally able to reach the set temperature and switch into low mode to maintain it. Installation was quick. The velcro strip runs the full length, and the three included buckle straps keep it snug. It took me less than five minutes, and the sleeve still allows the hose to bend as needed. The material feels thick and well-made, and it also shields the hose from sunlight and dust. The value for money is outstanding. It not only helps maintain a cooler room (which saves on electricity) but also protects the hose itself from wear. Considering replacement hoses can cost as much as this sleeve, it’s a no-brainer purchase. Excellent Performance & Easy Installation TL/DR: Easy install and review includes tips for install, significant heat reduction, also block light which is unexpected but great for day sleeping! This cover works exceptionally well and is much easier to install compared to sleeve-style designs. To achieve the correct length, I carefully folded both ends back, ensuring the Velcro remained functional, and secured it with one of the included connector elastics. Those with sewing skills may prefer to trim the length and finish the edges for a cleaner look. Once the covers are in place, the hoses become more rigid and less flexible in terms of bending or extending. For best results, adjust the hose to the correct length before installing the cover. Position bends as needed before connecting it to the air conditioner or window vent. I immediately noticed a significant reduction in the heat radiating from the exhaust hose. Previously, the hose emitted warmth up to three feet away, but after installing the cover, I can no longer feel a difference between the exhaust and intake hoses. Additionally, the cover helps block sunlight, an unexpected but welcome benefit that enhances efficiency and allows for great day napping! IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a slight rubber odor upon opening. However, after hanging the cover fully open on a pants hanger outdoors for 24 hours, exposure to sunlight and fresh air effectively eliminated the smell. In contrast, another similar product has retained its chemical/rubber scent for five days. This cover offers a much better experience in that regard.

nice product, fits well and with the reduction of heat from the exhaust hose it improved the efficiency of the unit to keep my home office a couple of degrees cooler vs without it at the same settings. The Exhaust hose measured about 110-115F before and now the measurement is in the low 90s. It was longer than I needed but I was able to fold the end back and using the straps that were provided this was enough to hold everything in place avoiding the need to cut or trim.

Highly recommend! Our floor AC wouldn’t shut off because the heat from the vent hose would make it hot in our apartment. Now it turns off and stays much cooler! Great value for the money. The material is great quality. It fit perfectly and didn’t have any issues with size. The thickness is decent too but not too bulky!

Awesome heat reducer. This works very well. Thicker than I thought. Great quality. It actually works better than I thought. I love the straps. As you can see in my pictures that this is solid. I’m glad I bought it. Well worth it. Now there is no more heat coming from the hose. Highly recommended.

This a/c vent hose cover is such a huge game changer. I didn’t even really know I needed it until I tried it. I have gone years without it and every year is the same thing. The heat going out of the vent makes the area around the a/c hotter. Which is opposite of what I am trying to achieve by using an a/c unit in the first place. Also, I have it next to my bed and I am a day sleeper. The light coming in from the hose made sleeping very difficult. Once I put the cover on and noticed what a huge difference it made, I was thinking about how dumb I have been to go every summer season without it. The room is much cooler and darker and the unit doesn’t seem to have to work as hard to cool the room down either. Which is beneficial to good sleep. So you might think you really don’t need it but I promise you that you do. It’s super affordable and easy to put on too. I won’t use another a/c unit without this hose cover!

You need this for the vent tube for your portable AC. That big vent tube gets hot! You can feel it giving off heat, this product insulates that tube just like adding pipe insulation around a cold or hot water line. This keeps that heat in the tube and exiting out the wall or window. It’s long but Works PERFECTLY! I folded over part of it onto itself and used the included tie downs to hold it all together. Wish I would have bought it sooner.

it's an attractive wrap but has no insulating R value, and standing 6 in away from the exhaust tubing there's no difference in your radiated heat. any rap should have a real r value and have a tin foil type material as its innermost layer to function as a radiant barrier.

J’ai acheté ce manchon d’isolation pour ma climatisation mobile afin de mieux isoler le tuyau d’évacuation. Comme mon tuyau est relativement court, proche de ma porte-fenêtre, j’ai plié le manchon en deux pour renforcer son efficacité. ✅ Ce que j’ai aimé : • Très efficace pour limiter les pertes de froid et améliorer le rendement de la climatisation. • Longueur généreuse, pratique pour adapter à différents tuyaux ou configurations. • Matériau isolant de bonne qualité, qui garde la fraîcheur sans se déformer. • Simple à installer et à ajuster pour mon installation spécifique. ❌ Ce que j’ai moins aimé : • Il ne faut pas le plier comme sur certaines images, car les scratchs risquent de ne pas tenir et le manchon peut s’ouvrir sur toute la longueur, même avec les petites sangles fournies. Conclusion : Un manchon d’isolation efficace et pratique, surtout si l’on adapte sa longueur à son installation. Bien pensé et performant, je recommande 👍
